Kafana Coffee Bar is a nice little coffee shop hidden in South Pasadena that share the same lobby with a gym.
They serve breakfast, pastries, coffee and tea (hot/cold) drinks. Their coffee bar is centrally positioned that offers a 360 degree view of the lobby. Seats were very comfortable with a relaxing atmosphere.
I ordered an Iced Coffee ($3.27). And it was simple in taste and in appearance but refreshing nonetheless. Service was spot on. Staff was affable and competent. Prices are fair. Offers free wifi and street parking.

What captivating for me was their interior design that reflected that of your own living room with flat screen tv, bookshelves, bar stool, love chair, sofa and a coffee table.

Overall, I had a nice experience and somewhat enjoyed my iced coffee; I really like their chill living room vibe. I still recommend this coffee shop.“

“Me and my kid have been regulars buying a smoothie (split in 2 cups) for lunch for the last few weeks. The staff here are fantastic! My kid is super in to Jamba and the staff does a great job with my kid. I can't say enough good things about them and the quality of food we get here.“

I’ve tried açaí bowls from plenty of other spots, but this has been my #1 for a while. They are delicious and reasonably priced. Staff is great too and I like ordering makes it easy to get.“

“Healthy healthy... HEALTHY! If this fatty can indulge here, so can you. This is probably the healthiest food and drink shop in a 20 mile radius. The fresh fruit smoothies are amazing and sandwiches to die for. I'm always stuck with... Should I get Chinese? May be a burger? Tacos sound good too... But when this spot comes on my radar, it ends up in top of my list.

“I love getting lunch here because the food is always prepared neatly and BOMB. I love the soychorizo bagel and I usually get it with either cheese and onion or jalapeno bagel, but there’s different kinds of bagels. Ultimately good and healthy food“

I won't be needing the other Acai place, this will be my go to place instead. more vegan options, better toppings (loved the cashew crunch typing), and they didn't charge extra for nut-butters. Awesome music with bass, friendly employees and faster at making your drinks than other boba places I've been to. They have so many drinks to choose from and you can have your boba blended frap (frozen like) which I recommend because it lasts you longer.“
