“The drinks are fine and the food is ok. We took a spice bag to go as we wanted to enjoy it later. We heard a lot of hype around it as it's the only place in the bay area that has one. Unfortunately it was just so salty and the spice blend wasn't it compared to the real thing. It's great to even see a spice bag on a menu anywhere in California but I just wasn't a fan. Stick to the pints and you'll be fine.“

“FANTASTIC BREAKFAST TACOS!! I can't recommend getting breakfast catered from Early Bird Tacos enough. Our order was delivered on time and I love that there was variety of tacos built into the order and I didn't have to pick which ones I wanted. There were even gluten free and vegetarian options. My personal favorite was the gold rush taco but they all sounded great!“
“Over in San Francisco from Perth Australia and popped in for a couple of beers, awesome spot and great beers, staff were super friendly and even grabbed some merch, get yourselves over and support these guys and have a cracking pint or four“
“So far, I’ve had their Pilsner and their Belgian white. Both so fresh, crisp, and delicious! Today, was my second visit, and each time I was met by friendly staff. They’re out of the way for me, but when I’m meeting my friend near his job, it’s a great time to go. It’s very close to the baseball stadium, Oracle Park. So, did watch game days, and possibly avoid at the time the game is almost over. The traffic gets pretty challenging, if you’re driving in the area, at that time.“

“Biergarten is a truly atmospheric spot right in the heart of San Francisco. The place captures an authentic German vibe - communal tables, lively energy, and that unmistakable beer garden spirit.
The food is delicious, perfectly paired with an excellent selection of German beers that are fresh, flavorful, and served the way they should be. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy great company, and feel transported straight to Europe without leaving the city.
If you’re looking for a fun, authentic experience with great food and outstanding beer, Biergarten is a must-visit.“
“A randomly cool setting in Downtown SF at Yerba Buena / Metreon. Friendly Service, and a clean and undeniably inviting energy here. Darts, a Pool Table, Indoor / Outdoor Seating with a nice Urban Patio. The Beer itself is Good at best, nothing impressive here honestly. But, still a nice addition to the SF Craft Beer Scene“
“I've hosted my company's family picnic at salesforce park with the Barebottle team the last two years and they have done an amazing job both times! Michael, the owner, makes working with his team so incredibly easy and enjoyable, and Daniel has worked our even both years and is also absolutely amazing! This location is really a great spot for small and larger gatherings and the Barebottle team makes the who experience great (wish we could have dogs!) We will certainly be hosting more events with this team in the future.“
“Shoutout to the bartender Kobe for making my first time at the bar super comfortable. I didn’t know what to order but he helped me figure it out. The overall atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable, and I’d definitely go back. Highly recommend.“
“I always love waiting in Finnegan's Wake for our table at Zazie's. They are always friendly and make a killer Irish coffee.“
“Humble Sea in Pacifica feels like a foggy day that decided to become a brewery—in the best possible way.
You walk in and it’s all soft light, ocean air sneaking through the doors, and that low hum of people who clearly planned to stay longer than they said they would. It’s got that laid-back surf energy, but without trying too hard to sell it. Just… easy.
The beers lean hazy, juicy, a little playful. I had one of their IPAs and it felt like drinking something that didn’t want to fight you—smooth, citrusy, just enough bite to keep it interesting. It’s the kind of place where you say, “I’ll just try one more,” and suddenly you’re deep in a flight you didn’t plan on ordering.
There’s usually a food truck situation going on outside, which completes the whole experience. Nothing fancy, just good, satisfying food that pairs perfectly with a cold beer and that slightly moody Pacifica backdrop.
Service is friendly in that genuine, local way—no script, no attitude. Just people who seem stoked you showed up.
It’s not flashy, not trying to be the next big thing. It’s better than that. It’s consistent, comfortable, and quietly excellent—the kind of spot that becomes part of your regular rotation without you even realizing it.

“Great spot. Always a solid mixed crowd. Chill environment and way less of a frat party then the marina they have my favorite drink on their menu! Hope they never get rid of the paper planes. While the wait can be a thing I’m fine with it when the drinks are always very good and the prices are right for this quality, def keeps me coming back“

“Love going to this place! Great selection of craft beers and Will who is the beertender is quick, respectful and just overall a great person to talk to and runs that place with precision. The pizza is fabulous. Billy got this sourdough pizza going and the pizza tastes amazing thanks to the magic hands of Harrison. Trust me, come here, get a beer, get a pizza, and just chill and kick back! Best pizza on Grand ave, possibly in South San Francisco, Probably the whole BAY!!“
