“Zeitgeist is an epic dive bar whose main attraction is the outdoor beer garden which is a great setting for heavy afternoon beer consumption. The no photo rules maintains the sanctity of this watering hole that is frequented by a mix of college kids, hipsters and bikers.“

“We sampled a flight of their IPA and sour brews, and I must admit, the Cara Cara Bang Bang stole the show. This delightful concoction, featuring the incredibly sweet Cara Cara orange, coconut, and milk sugar, is a true delight for any sour lover. The inclusion of Joyride Pizza available to order is a significant bonus, enhancing the experience of enjoying their exceptional brews. The seating area is thoughtfully arranged, providing a comfortable and inviting space to kick back and relax. Additionally, they offer board games and books for patrons to enjoy, adding an extra layer of fun to the atmosphere“

“We tried all the empanadas ❤️And, all the beers ?? we tried were quite good ?. As you walk up to the place, there's this faint aroma of a operating brewery, IYKYK, AIR? Then when you get inside that same wiff briefly overwhelms you. Enjoy friends. This place is good stuff“

“Great ambience! Enjoyed our experience - excellent service, food was excellent. Will definitely recommend. Our group came here for a conference and checked this out on the internet and was extremely impressed. Lovely evening! Dine in. I had the Caprese con Pomodorini - fresh ingredients, and arugula salad for an appetizer. The best! We shared the crème brûlée lemon - OMG - so good!Vegetarian options: Ask the waiter“

“I stopped by here on a sunny Sunday afternoon and left happy that it did. I was greeted by their friendly staff that offered me to sample any of the beers/ciders. I decided on the fort point cider and a soft pretzel. I was happy with the pretzel and would recommend it to anyone. It was chewy, buttery and perfectly salted. It also came with a side of mustard and a seasoned Bavarian cheese spread. The cider was light and crisp and paired perfectly with the pretzel. Snagging a bench wasn't difficult and they had nice music playing in the background. I'll definitely be back!“

“Valencia is home to so much amazing food, taking a moment to appreciate it all can be overwhelming and we can get so lost in our favorites, we can look past new spots all the time! Petra is new and amazing. With an amazingly large dining room loaded with call backs to one of the wonders of the world Petra, the energy is phenomenal, and can only be matched by its food! The menu is filled with classics, but the best part is the portion size! You'll be full before your main comes up if you're not ready! The quality is just as high! With a reasonable wait time to get my food, friendly faces, and some of my favorites like a fantastic hummus plate, and incredible fries I highly recommend Petra to everyone!! I liked the knafeh a lot, but their baklava is amazing! And if you aren't feeling adventurous there's a Mitchell's ice cream attached! It's amazing!“

Woods Island Club Bar • $
1 Avenue of the Palms Ste 168, San Francisco

“We came here during a Treasure Island outing and had a nice afternoon. There is indoor seating and a public outdoor seating area as well. We chose to sit outside because we had our dog with us and there are signs advising no dogs are allowed in the building. They have offerings of beer, wine and empanadas and we sampled them all. The bartender was very nice and made suggestions. They also had convenient public restrooms and it was a quick walk to get the ferry back. I like that even on a weekend it wasn't crowded and we were able to enjoy the weather and have some lovely conversation. There was also music playing even though we were outside and it added to the ambiance. I would definitely stop in if you're in the area.“

Casanova Lounge Bar • $
527 Valencia St, San Francisco

“Came here on a recommendation from my bff. The prettiest dive bar in the mission (beautiful colored pendant lights over the bar, comfy seating in the back). We stopped in for a drink before the cruel intentions musical, and had to come back after because the bartender was so sweet and outgoing, we felt so welcome. The margaritas were goooood. We made friends, and had a great time.“
