Every bar should have a popcorn machine. This place is so cute and even if it wasn’t, there’s POPCORN.
What a great local bar. The girl behind the bar was fantastic good personality chatting with some of the locals. There was also a gentleman behind the bar as things started to get busy he backed her up, he was also very approachable. These guys know how to read a room. I will definitely be back.
Parking: Little tricky to find parking close to the bar but if you continue to go around the block you can park on the street about a block or so away.
The StandBy is a low-key, divey bar in SSF with a cozy atmosphere, comfy booths, and outdoor seating. They offer a good selection of beers on tap and tasty cocktails. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure everyone feels welcome. On certain days, they even provide free popcorn. Despite limited parking, the local bar is a popular spot, especially when they have a pop-up restaurant serving up delicious dishes like tacos and nachos. The StandBy is a great place to relax and enjoy good drinks with friends.
