“This is actually my third or fourth visit here. I have recently enjoyed the fiesta bowl with Bistec(Steak) and a fiesta bowl with Milanesa de Pollo (Breaded chicken). Both were very good. They have a good amount of sauces available to add on to your meals and the staff are always happy to help.“

“delicious! lots of vegetarian options!“
“This is a food truck so the atmosphere is what you'd expect it to be when it's on a neighborhood street near a highway entrance - LOL! Very much open as of the time of posting as I walk past it most days. On weekends, they serve the most amazing pupusas, the best I have ever had in San Mateo (I have surveyed quite a few over the years) and I dare say as good if not better than what I used to partake in when living in the Mission district of San Francisco. My kids love it too and getting pupusas to go and walking over to Persimmon Park (about 10 mins away on foot) or to the tables/benches near Whole Foods for a picnic is the way to go. Value for money is also incredible - $3.75 per pupusa and my two kids (ages 8 and 11) and I get four of 'em to split for lunch. Get the revueltas option and enjoy having the gooey goodness melt in your mouth! Speaking a bit of Spanish helps. I got by with gesturing a bit. Very nice staff and they pump out pupusas pretty quickly too given each one is prepared individually when ordered (as it should be). So delighted they are right in my neighborhood!!!“

“This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. The food here is absolutely delicious and flavorful. You must try the pupusas, empanadas, bunelos, and many other Latin dishes. The pupusas are a huge hit. The pupusas are tasty, the salsa is fresh and the curtido hits the spot. Best Latin restaurant in the Bay Area.“

“Small local restaurant next to a Foster City waterway with indoor and outdoor seating. The kids liked running around on the deck outside while we waited for food. The empanadas were great and the fish stew had nice flavors. My pickiest kids had the ham empanadas. Service was casual and friendly.“

“Do you love going to Flavortown? How about dreaming with your eyes open? Then try these birria tacos. The first time I had it was from leftovers that my daughter brought home for lunch. Then I drove from Oakley to San Mateo to have them fresh. It was AMAZING! They provide extra stuff to add to the tacos, but it honestly didn’t need them. The meat was so tender & flavorful that I had to close my eyes so I could fully appreciate the taste. Then I added the extras one by one & it tasted like a new taco each time. I know it seems like I’m exaggerating, but it’s really that good! My only wish is that they had seating nearby & a second location closer to Oakley.“

“Homemade horchata is delicious, salsa bar is full of fresh pico de gallo, fire-roasted jalapeños, hot and mild sauces and pickled carrots. The Super Al Pastor burrito was flavorful and filling, a little light on the meat, and the sour cream and guac ended up at one end of the burrito instead of throughout. Service was fast and friendly and affordable prices.“

“Always a great experience at Limon Redwood City. The atmosphere is classy but still warm and welcoming, perfect for a date night or a dinner with friends. The food is on another level. Every dish is bursting with flavor and beautifully balanced. The seafood is a must try, especially if you love fresh and vibrant flavors. We had the empanadas sampler and it was phenomenal. Each one had its own unique twist. And the cocktails? Top notch. Creative, refreshing and expertly made. I cannot wait to go back and try more. Highly recommend!“

“New “more than a coffeehouse” in Mountain View with a Venezuelan touch. Good ambiance and the menu offers an extensive list of items to please every taste. I got the “empanaditas” which are fried. Comes with cheese filling and ground beef. The red sauce was super hot. Caught me by surprise and I coughed and got teary eyes. It needs a warning! Coffee was great and look at that perfect heart work! Just beautiful. Parking during a Saturday can be challenging but a 2 block walk is a solution. Try it!“

“The food was well seasoned and hot when it was brought out to us. The reason I gave it a 4 is because I had trouble having a conversation across the booth due to the loud music. However, that is the atmosphere of this place: Loud. It's very lively during karaoke nights where anyone can volunteer to sing whether you know how to or not. I also gave it a 4 because the price of a 16oz cup of coffee is $3. Love this place for the food and the music, not the coffee.“

“I was meaning to write this last week, but a few days ago I went to visit Stanford University and I came across this cafe. The cashier at the time (whose name is Jose) was so nice and helpful with my order. Not only did he recommend a great food and drink item but he also informed me about the rewards system and he helped me go through the process step by step. I don't normally write these types of reviews, but I wanted to spend an extra minute out of my day to do this because I could tell he works hard, and good service can be quite hard to come by these days. This made my visit to Stanford very pleasing and I cant wait to go back! Thank you for taking the time to cater to me, Jose!“
