“It’s been a while since we discovered this spot and finally made it back with the limited open hours. Service was outstanding and food was phenomenal just like we remembered.
They recommended for me to try the secret menu chicken breakfast burrito. LET ME TELL YOU:
I took one bite in the car to hold me over until I got home to share with my husband and it took everything out of me not to eat the entire burrito before I got home. It was honestly one of the most delicious things I’ve tasted.
Also highly highly recommend the apple fritter. I’m not even an apple fritter person but that thing is art for the mouth.“

“I grew up in the same neighborhood where this bakery is located. I love the traditional recipe this place has. The recipes are from the Grandmother. This is the most authentic Chinese bakery I ever tried. The dimsum meatballs are the best in the world! Please support this bakery. Unfortunately from what the lady in the bakery told me, this is the last year they will be in business. Let’s get them as much business as we can so we can let them go in success.“

“Went here last weekend after dinner with some friends and it turned out to be a sweet little surprise. The place had a cozy vibe and smelled amazing the moment we walked in. I tried their chocolate mousse and my friend got the strawberry cheesecake — both were really good, not overly sweet which I liked. The staff were friendly and even offered some samples to try. Prices were fair for the quality too. Overall, a nice spot if you’re craving something sweet after a meal or just want a little treat.“

“My wife and I just stopped by after work and we were greeted as we walked in by a friendly employee. She asked if we needed any help and we asked for pork tamales and got ourselves some pastries. “Looked for a place to stop by for lunch while on jury duty since I’ve never really eaten downtown before. This neat little place was only like a 3 minute walk from the courthouse.

Vietnamese Sandwich (Banh Mi):
Definitely worth a try if you’ve never had banh mi.
The bread was nice and crunchy on the outside but still super soft and fluffy on the inside and easy to chew. I had the chicken and pork chop to try both. Pork chop was pretty good, tender, a bit chewy, decent vietnamese marinaded pork flavor. There was no daikon which is disappointing for me. I also did not like the thickness of the cucumber, a bit overpowering. The mayo they used tastes like regular hellman’s or something. Otherwise decent quality and fresh tasting for about $7 each plus tax. I did not really care for the chicken because it didn’t have a lot of flavor. The amount of meat ratio and quality for the price for both is so-so, especially compared to bigger names like Huong Lan but I know this isn’t their focus. I would come again though because it’s so convenient at the courthouse. Even at these prices a banh mi is so worth it and filling for a lunch.

Thai Iced Tea:
CRAZY sweet. Probably the sweetest I’ve ever tasted. I would ask for half sugar, if possible, for a normal sane person. Other than that, crazy good value at $3.50.

Everything Bagel:
This was really lackluster and a bit tough for me, but I’m aware I’m getting a bagel at noon, meaning it may have been sitting there since the early morning. It had a flavor like it absorbed the aromas of the shop from sitting out a while. I also had it plain to taste it for a good grasp of the quality of bagel. $2“

“I’ve been passing by this bakery for a while and finally decided to check it out. The place has a cozy vibe, and the smell of fresh bread hits you as soon as you walk in. I grabbed a cinnamon roll and a small loaf of sourdough. Everything tasted fresh and just right—not too sweet, not too bland. The staff were friendly and didn’t make me feel rushed, which I appreciated. Prices were reasonable too. It’s not my absolute favorite bakery in town, but I’ll probably stop by again when I’m in the area.“

“I enjoyed the Thornton's Thorn coffee with oat milk. The shop smells so good, but was still tolerable for my non-coffee liking father. It is very clean and there are games and a free library to check out.

“I am so thankful i chose Simply Tasty Treats for my son’s 1st bday party. Manisha exceeded my expectations. She was professional and kind always. I sent her a picture of what i was looking for and she went above and beyond. When i saw the cake I cried it was so beautiful. The cupcakes were beautiful. They tasted amazing. Thank you a thousand times over. She is also doing my mate’s retirement party cakes and cupcakes. I will hire her in a heartbeat.“
