“I visted the new Arlington Texas location today for lunch and I was immediately disappointed by turning into the parking lot because of the big pot holes. Why wouldn't you fix that 1st. Secondly, their front door is located near Babes trash dumpster and the smell was terrible. Who wants to inhale the unpleasant smell of trash prior to entering a restaurant to eat, it definitely can cause someone to lose their appetite. I would suggest that management speak with Babes and have some type of deodorizer sprayed to improve the smell. Despite this, i still gave them a try. I was pleasantly greeted at the door and decided to order to go. I found menu prices to be decent even though some items were costly. I choose the shrimp po boy & fries. The order was received quickly and the food presentation was great. The sandwich was loaded with shrimp and topped with lettuce (too much), pickles, tomatoes and some type of dressing on toasted bread. The sandwich was so full that you couldn't close the bread without eating some of the shrimp. The fries were hot and had seasoning sprinkled on them. The shrimp was seasoned well and tasted good but the fries were just ok. Overall the meal was good and I was satisfied with paying 17 dollars after tax. The food was good but the dumpster smell was a complete turnoff and will keep me from returning until something is done. I still would suggest giving them a try because the food and service was good. They also made me feel welcomed.“

“My wife and I visited for breakfast last Saturday morning and the service was excellent! The staff was friendly and fast with our request. Thank you
Kid-friendliness: The staff has crayons & paper for customers- kids to show their artwork. Taped throughout the walls, inside the restaurant, leaves me coming back for more.“

“Awesome little place on the Miracle Mile, fast friendly service with delicious food. I had the wieners and rice with brown onion gravy, my wife had the corned beef hash. First time I’ve been here, my wife has been going since she was a kid.“

“Here visiting in Stockton and was recommend this place by a local. And this place did not disappoint! We walked in and were greeted kindly. The table was messy but the worker quickly apologized and cleared it for us. This didn’t really bother us as we could tell the restaurant was very busy. As we expected with such good reviews. We got our meals and every bite was delicious. It’s been a long time since we’ve had a well made breakfast from a restaurant. Definitely happy we stopped by. Was worth it!!! And the staff was very friendly. Jasmin !! Thank you for having us!“

“Came here for the first time on Monday. Had breakfast planned with a friend and she suggested we try the Duck Nook as it was 1) 5 minutes away from her house and 2) It was a beloved Stockton diner. I've never heard of it, so it was a first for both of us. We arrived around 11am, and there were not many people, so we were seated right away. I ordered a glass of orange juice with the Duck Waffle breakfast and an extra side of hash browns; my friend ordered the Huevos Rancheros. Our food was great, and the servers were very attentive. Overall we had a great time and would totally be back.“

“First time visiting this restaurant. My family and I are from Oregon visiting family. Greeted as soon as we walked in. Shannon was our waitress. She was just so sweet. The food I would have said is pretty pricey but boy you get a lot of food. We all had leftovers to take to the hotel for later. I got the artichoke omelet. First time trying it. It was pretty good. It was a fat huge omelet and it came with two big pancakes and hash browns. My husband and kids all enjoyed their food. If I visit again I will be back. I would recommend this establishment.“
