“I get it to go, and the service is quick. The workers seem happy, and the food is delicious!!! Can't ask for better quality than this. I recommend this authentic Mexican restaurant.Parking: Good location with plenty of room to park.”
“My cousins took me here last year to try the Papusa. They were delicious!!! We revisited here yesterday and still tastes great. I wish we lived closer, we'd come more often. I had the Spinach Papusa and the Jalapeño Papusa. I am definitely a fan. I'd love to try something new, but I can't pass up getting a Papusa.”
“This place is off the beaten path, but central valley residents aren't wrong when they rave about the food and service. Genuinely nice people serving amazing dishes. The orange ice cream (not sherbet) is not to be missed. There's a reason it comes with the combo meals. Try the orange smoothie, which is really just an orange shake. You'll be back for another one soon.Parking: Dirt parking lot wraps around 3 sides of the building. Far more parking outside than seating inside.”
“My family and I love this place! My aunt recommended it to us, and it is definitely worth 5 stars, even more! They were really nice and accommodating. They put two tables together so my family and I can all be seated next to each other. I had the quesabirria tacos and they were so good and filling! I got full with just one. My sister got the sope and it was really big and looked really appetizing! They also have a molcajete you can order that comes with a lot of meat and nopales! 10/10 would recommend!”
“Not sure if it's called Mariscos El-30 or El Malecon.... but it was delicious! You sit down and get a mini ceviche with crackers and tostadas. We ordered the fish tacos and they were really good, the batter had good flavor. The service was excellent too, they checked on us quiet often and made sure we had everything we needed. I would come here again!”
“This is the best seafood Mexican restaurant in the world! From the empanadas to the shrimp you can't go wrong! The pasta brava is to die for! I will be there Sunday with my friends and pigging out! Don't forget the Mexican Coke!!”
“The BEST salsa and chips in Tulare County at the Teapot Dome location! We love eating in and also take out. Every week I stop by for a large container of salsa to use at home. Beautiful friendly people who make your dining experience magical.”
“I'm from Washington and they make such amazing coffee there and I've been traveling down west coast so far this human being has been the best one I've stopped out. And everyone is very nice.”
“Very friendly, affordable, and nice. Has a 2 drive-thru windows and a walk up window. Fast service.Dietary restrictions: Has dairy free optionsParking: Plenty of parking”
“A real coffee shop in Porterville is extremely welcoming. The coffee was great and their flavored options are not overly sweet. Espresso was dialed in and produced a rich crema. I'll definitely be returning.”
“I ordered the Birra de Res. It came with rice, beans, salad, and fresh corn tortillas. A lot of food for the price. I'd highly recommend you swing by and try it.”
“Comida muy deliciosa, altamente recomendable , el servicio muy bueno y el personal muy agradable, gracias por su servicio. Nos queda un poco retirado pero en una semana y media ya fuimos 3 veces”
“Best Chili Dog Stand I've ever had. I use to go all the time but I noticed they changed their hotdogs though. Bars brand are definitely not my favorite, please go back to the original ones so I can start returning all the time again.”
“(Translated by Google) Very well. For me personally, the shrimp cocktail is very good.(Original)Muy bien. Para mi en lo personal el cocktail de camaron muy bueno”
“Everything was so good! We had avocado roll, shrimp rolls, botana tropical, fries, and tacos de Carne asada. The tacos had lots of meat, super flavorful salsa. Everything was fresh and delicious ? omg and the flan casero... perfect.”
“Today was a great visit. Easy parking. Friendly staff. Family friendly restaurant. Food= delicious. Beverage options = Excellent. If you are looking for a place to eat, The Habit is the place to be. Great job everyone. A+ ??”
“This site is my first choice place. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this restaurant. everytime I I need a fair meal, this restaurant comes immediately to my mind. outstanding and food and a large menu.well mannered staff members, and good spirit. In addition to that, the tariff is honest. I suggest this place with pleasure.”
“You can't miss it if you pass through the area. It is a very cozy place where you can spend a very pleasant time with your family or friends eating delicious food.”
“The atmosphere is casual bar dining. Wood tables with chairs, var stool counter seating, and booths all available. Handicap accessible. Street parking on Main and back parking lot are free for customers. Overall the food is good. Burgers, salads and grilled chicken sandwiches all cooked well with good flavor and wide choice of toppings. I like to request the innings be grilled on my burger for the extra yummy pop of flavor. You might like to add grilled mushrooms. They also usually have vegan-patty burger substitute upon request. However I cannot recommend the bland sweet potato fries or greasy onion rings. Vault Fries, curly & regular fries are good when fryer oil has been recently changed. Some more unique side offerings such as fried pickles are available. I didn't care for them but other customers do enjoy them. There is a wide variety of unique beer choices (hoppy, ales, ciders), a few wines, and 805. My favorite is CaliSqueeze which is mild and just a tiny bit of sweetness. If you're looking for a good selection of cold draft beer and decent bar food, The Vault is a great choice. At end of 2023, a burger+fries/salad meal averages $16-$18. Restrooms look and smell clean, with normal supplies well stocked but otherwise nothing worth mentioning good or bad. The floors near the salad and bar counter areas always seem greasy or somehow almost weirdly gooey when walking on the linoleum (but not really slippery or sticky). Tables are usually bussed and wiped down pretty quickly. Rest of dining area also appears clean. There is some limited outdoor seating with covering/shade next to sidewalk. Service is not slow but don't expect consistent accuracy for requests of sauce on the side. Appetizers sometimes do not arrive before rest of the meal. To-go cups with a refill of your non-alcohol drink are available on request. The Vault can quickly get noisy inside even when there aren't many patrons so don't go here to have quiet conversation or romance. But it is perfect for an after-work beer and variety of bar food offerings. Enjoy!Vegetarian options: Ask for substitute veggie optionsParking: Free on Main Street and parking lot behind Vault.Wheelchair accessibility: No problem”
“This place was great! No idea if they’re a chain or a mom and pop but they run their business like a mom and pop with attention to the details and connection with the customer. They offered recommendations and gave two little covered beans on top of my coffee when I drove around. Kudos to a good business! And the ☕️ was pretty dang good, also.”
“First time trying & Its delicious. Got the Hawaiian Crispy Shrimp & Chicken w/ Gyozas...?? Most definitely returning to try the Grilled Salmon! Not to mention the staff are super friendly.... Ty JJ's!”
“Went here on Valentine's Day and everything was excellent. Service a little slow but understandable with how busy it was, staff was kind and attentive, food was delicious. Live music was enjoyable and not too loud, good volume to have a conversation with your partner/guests. Very excellent ”
“The service is great nice and friendly waitresses, the pastor is not really salty just perfect and has the right amount of seasonings in it same with the carne asada, tortillas are homemade have a really good corn flavor. The prices are fair for the day and age we live in ”
“The food is damn good. Worth it. Location is small inside but I always take it to go. People seem to enjoy eating inside. Outside seating is nice. Worth eating outside if you don’t have loud people around you. Service is great. Plenty of options. Best place in town for this style of food.”
“I may fall asleep writing this because of the food coma. Everything was DELICIOUS! It can be a challenge to find really great food in this small Central Valley community, but Doña Maggie has it!! I had the Chilaquiles con Huevos and a fish taco, hubs had the Chorizo con Huevos (we like breakfast, okay?), dad got a Chile Relleno with Shrimp, and mom got several things: a Lengua Taco, a Fish Taco, and a Carne/Queso Coyota. WE. CLEANED. OUR. PLATES. Don’t even get me started on the homemade corn tortillas. Absolute heaven! The service was super friendly and helpful, as well. If they had served margaritas, I might have died right there on the spot. Seriously incredible food. Great prices.Parking: Plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a ramp on the front door. Not only helpful wheelchairs but those with limited balance and mobility.”
“A young lady named Aubrie helped us and she was so friendly. She made sure we were all taken care of. Ordering process was smooth and quick. The drinks taste deliand there's always something new!”
“They have delicious Mexican sweet bread coming out of the oven throughout the day, and they had huge tamales that were $1.50, and the price was more than reasonable, considering the size of the pork tamales.”
“If you're in the mood for an ice cream this is the best place to go. Chocolate vanilla or of course swirl. Soft serve ice cream is delicious. They only downside of this place is that the bathroom is outside and it's locked and they didn't have the key. So prepare before you go.”
“Top quality favored sandwich meals at reasonable pricesHamburger buns baked on siteLot of great favor in every biteFamily operated. It show in their friendly service”
