It's about as local, and as fresh as you get. April is Orange Blossom Festival. We're having ice tea with a slice of orange in it. Orange and vanilla (half and half ice cream) and a sandwich.
This place is off the beaten path, but central valley residents aren't wrong when they rave about the food and service. Genuinely nice people serving amazing dishes. The orange ice cream (not sherbet) is not to be missed. There's a reason it comes with the combo meals. Try the orange smoothie, which is really just an orange shake. You'll be back for another one soon.Parking: Dirt parking lot wraps around 3 sides of the building. Far more parking outside than seating inside.

Great food. Even though this roadside sandwich shop in Strayhmore was packed for lunch on a Saturday, ordering went fairly quickly and they were completed quickly for pick up too. I got the lunch special for $15 which was a full sandwich with all fixings, chips, a drink and ice cream! I chose the orange ice cream which was totally scrumptious.
