Decided to have breakfast in the area and I Looked up a couple spots around me. Found a lot of interesting one but Jumpin Java grabbed my attention. It's located Right on Ventura, cute outside and indoor seating, feel good oldies tunes playing in the speakers. All the staff here are really nice and super attentive. Service was phenomenal and up to par. They have a huge menu. It's not only a breakfast spot they also have a lunch menu. Pretty much they have something for any cravings you might be having. I ordered the grits and link with a side of house potatoes. Absolutely delicious. I was more than satisfied with my choice, the servings are huge! I tried some of the French toast. Fire! Everyone liked this place. We really enjoyed our experience here at Jumpin Java. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for good breakfast joint. We will returning soon. Thanks you !!!

This place is a neighborhood GEM. The food is always delicious, and tastes like homemade with love. All the pancakes, omelettes, and the French toast options are to die for. The place is a best kept secret, with some indoor and outdoor seating. They also have take-out options. All of the staff are friendly and available to help (even when they are short on hands). You can tell that this place is family-run. My one complaint is the coffee - I think they started using a different bean/roast than prior. Quality of the coffee is low, and tastes stale/flavorless/watered down. All the espresso drinks were made incorrectly and the brewed coffee was a miss. Otherwise, this is a family favorite and my favorite spot for breakfast in Studio City! Highly recommend :)

Though the feel and service changed to accommodate social mandates, I still appreciate the food consistency and taste. The portabella mushroom salad is my favorite particularly when the dressing is smooth. Speaking of smooth, the service and ambiance. When it's good, it's perfect.

Gluten free French Toast - this is just toast that has only ever dreamed of an egg. Gluten-free or no, this is too dry to be "French toast". Needed a much longer soak in the egg mixture. I had to cut the crusts off because they were just too tough to be enjoyable. I appreciated the plethora of fresh berries on top and the fact that they offer real maple syrup (~$3 extra charge). I also appreciate that they give you room temperature whipped butter with your order instead of the refrigerator cold packets at other breakfast places. So nice to have the butter actually melt for once. The bread was also nicely and evenly fried. They're close on this dish. I'm glad they offer this it but it's really not a good rendition of French toast, which should be soft and custardy, imo. They have a pretty extensive menu, and I'd come back to try other things because they clearly care about ingredients (organic/grass fed) and presentation, as well as customer service. I am totally here for supporting places that care about the sourcing and quality of their food as well as accommodating alternative diets. They were slammed at 1pm on a Sunday, of course, and so ordering took quite some time. Everyone was very courteous and helpful. We were a walk-in party and we didn't have to wait long for a table...maybe 15-20 minutes. Their outside patio area is okay. Lots of street noise and we were also seated right under a speaker, so the music was a little loud for us too. There is a good overhang and umbrellas, so it's shady on hot/sunny days and probably even useable in the rain. We parked down the block and walked, which is expected for parking in this area of town.

This has been our solid weekend go to Breakfast or Brunch spot since 1999! Can't say i've ever had a bad meal here. In fact, the food is always excellent, well prepared, great portions and the service is top notch. If you're lucky to be there on a day when Sona, the chef, is walking around - say hello and make a friend with a fantastic lady. My go to's are: The Lavash Press with Chicken, The Jumping java Famous (Soujouk & Eggs) and when you want desert for breakfast either The French Kiss or The Orange Blossom Pancakes are something really special!

I ordered an Eggs Florentine ~the spinach was not steamed or sautéed. I politely asked a server if they could cook it. She said that's not how they do their Florentine so I asked if they could PLEASE do it. The owner then came out and embarrassed in front of the other patrons saying that I need to let them know ahead of time if I want something a specific way. I let her know that I've never ordered that dish with them before nor have I ever eaten that dish w/the spinach raw, she continued to be defensive and loud. I asked her why she was scolding me like I was a kid, mind you my friend is on the phone with me the entire time and can hear everything (she was in shock, "why is this lady talking to you like this?") I got up and left and I will never eat there again. There is a way to treat people -they were mean to me. That's worse than bad food, that's bad and hurtful energy.

Way too expensive for just average food. Almost 6 bucks for a coffee is too much at a breakfast spot. Atmosphere was nice and service was ok.

Everything was delicious and the service was very friendly! Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying many of the other menu items.

The staff was so nice and attentive! Randomly found this place and it's a gem for sure :) Would come back

So disappointed. I treated myself to brunch delivery at a restaurant where eggs Benedict were subpar and priced higher than the other restaurants serving EB. The hollandaise sauce was runny thin, the eggs were over cooked, the English muffin was burnt. The potatoes were uninspired. What should have been better seasoned wasn't, the rest was too salty. The delivery person was pleasant. Pretty bad if that's the best thing I can say.

Exceptional service and the food was so so good as well! Tried both the french toast and egg/potato/bacon breakfast. No complaints, will definitely be back! Oddly challenging to find a good breakfast place in the valley, this place is amazing!

My favorite brunch spot since my 20s and so many options for breakfast and lunch on the menu. They even have vegan options. They are always so sweet to my foster pups when I take them to sit outside.
