“This is a small place. It has seven 2 person tables. However, the food and the service are excellent!! It is a mixture of Mexican, Salvadoran and American food. I've been here twice and hope to visit more often. Today, I had 2 cheese & jalapeño pupusas and a chicken burrito along with a soda. All I can say is Mmmmmm!!!
Parking: The food is very tasty!!“

“Wow! Delicious Pupusas and Sopa de mariscos! I am a very critical Salvadoran when it comes to Pupusas and Salvadoran Food, with over 40 years of experience 😋 This Restaurant has definitely met my expectations. Specially cause the Pupusas are $1.99 Monday Thursday. Loved this place and will be eating here every time I come down to the valley.“

“Pupusas are delicious! I’ve tried many different restaurants in the valley and this one by far takes it. They are off of Foothill Blvd (in front of the Vons) Tuesday-Sunday. Hours vary from 9:30. Very affordable and they have an area where you can sit and eat. Also very clean, gloves are used to prepare your food.“

“This was our second visit--the first roughly a year before. If I lived nearby I would eat there as much as I could. The food is terrific and the price is more than fair for the repast. Every course from appetizer to desert was excellent. If you find yourself in La Veta you shouldn't skip it.“

“Delicious hot food, refreshing drinks, and fresh papusas. Friendly, fast service. Some entres tend to be very light on salt. A request I have for this place is to please place bilingual signage in front of each food item for easy identification and ordering. Although, they do have a menu on the wall, it's difficult to read for some. Other than that, food is fresh, hot, and delicious!“

“So yummy! My parents are Guatemalan and used to take me to a lot of central American restaurants growing up. So glad I came across this restaurant. I ordered the Salvadorean breakfast and it reminded me of what I grew up eating at home. So worth it!P.s. they only take cash!“

“I went in 20 minutes before closing when you’d expect the worst service but actually I received the best service! After my terrible experience with Mi Casita on Vanowen and Kester, I came here as my last resort. My pupusas were filled with flavor and not dry at all, the sauce was great and the curtido could of been better it takes more refrigerated. They also sell charamuscas here and their horchata is the best. The ladies were extremely nice and I got my order in less than 15 minutes. I’m definitely coming back here!“

“Best pupusas in Arleta, I recommend the gallina asada soup (delicious), sopa de res and the sopa de pata. Also the mojarra frita if you want to eat well and have real nutrients come here. It's a nice place to eat there as well they have a nice patio in front of the road where you can relax. 🫡 Estelitas Forever!“

“Oh, foods that I missed eating from my country and here I find them, even their seasoning is the same as mine, how funny he is, Salvador, it's good that here they haven't lost the reason for cooking, it's knowing that he doesn't just cook for a client, yes. not for someone in the family.“

“Sweet staff and slay prices, breakfast plate with the plátanos and huevos rancheros were good but lowkey would skip out on the pupusas, the one I go the mass was so thick and lowkey not that good. Horchata was okay, kind of nutty, I would opt out for Jamaica next time if possible.“
“OMG this is the 3rd time in a week that i order the pollo en crema (chicken in cream) is so delicious, so testy, full in flavor, and convine with the rice and the black beans is and explosion of flavors in my mouth..... “I give it a 4 stars because my 7 mares soup was missing seafood, even though it did taste very good. Their carne asada, to my taste, it could have tasted better. Their pupusas revueltas, definitely great. And the waitress was friendly with a smile on her face. ☺️ altogether the bill was $90. 4pupusas, 1siete mares and 1 carne asada plate and 3 drinks. You be the judge if it is pricey or just about right?.“

“The food used to be real bad but to my surprise it has greatly improved they must have hired a new cook! The place is very clean an so the restroom soccer games on flat screens you may have to wait for food but is all about the time of the day and how busy they are like any other place for this I give them four stars“

“Was skeptical coming in, but now that I did, I was missing out. The food quality is amazing. Can't think of another place like this. Expect humble and casual which for the prize is expected. Can't stop talking about the food quality and flavor, it beats almost all places out there. Extra stars because my mom loves it too! Caldo de gallina is her favorite, and pupusas mixtas I ordered where delicious and perfect size!“

“The pupusas are good, the pata soup is given to you without any nerve and pansa, just vegetables and soup that taste good, but that's why I won't buy the plantain empanadas again, they are terrible, I had to throw them away, they should improve the quesadillas if they are good and the pupusas.“

“This place is definitely a hole in the wall. It’s nothing fancy. But for those who know, it seriously looks just like grandmas kitchen and has that at home feeling to it. The service is desperately terrible but none of any of that matters because the food is ridiculously amazing! If you enjoy Salvadoran cuisine, you can catch someone’s grandma in the kitchen making pupusas and they taste insanely authentic and possibly the best I have ever had hands down. I can wolf down 4 “Revueltas” or “Queso con Loroco” with cheese oozing out of the sides and burnt crispy in a bliss of goodness. The sauce and cabbage that goes on top is incredible. This place is as home made Salvadoran as you might ever get without traveling to the suburbs of San Salvador and sitting at someone’s grandmas kitchen table. This is a must stop for anyone craving a good pupusa!“
