“I am vegan. When my family lived in North Hollywood Leonor's was my go to restaurant. It was one of the few restaurants that my entire family would frequent. We used to eat there before it was Leonor's (we are talking 1970s). I think in 1980s Leonor became the owner... I don't know who owns it now... if it is someone in the family or not.. however, the food is great. I miss it. It's been a while. When this heatwave in Los Angeles cools off I will go and order lunch... Hopefully I recognize a face or two.“

“This place deserves 10 stars I could not take pictures of the food because I inhaled the food. I got 3 shawarma and finished in less than 5 minutes and almost ate my finger with it it was so good. The other ramens were also full of flavor and doesn’t have a water downed flavor. The staff was so freindly and nice. It gives a very personal and homey feel. Everything was nice and clean including the bathroom! They also give these free puff deserts that are filled with strawberry creme and it was a phenomenal ending. One of the staff even gave us free pocky’s as a small new year festivities.
This is definitely a lowkey, hidden spot that’s worth a try. Would recommend the ramen any day. I will be going back!“

“Don't be fooled by this small hidden restaurant. It serves AMAZING food.
Armen, the owner, is super friendly. He really cares about serving the best quality food. You can tell he's passionate about it.

The menu has lots of delicious options. I ordered the chicken thigh shish kabob. It came with very tender juicy mouth watering chunks of chicken on a bed of flavorful rice. There's a side of fire roasted jalapenos tomatoes, and hummus. Also comes with lavash bread and garlic sauce. I wish it came with a little extra chicken though.

There's only street parking. One picnic style table in front of the restaurant.

They appear to mainly cater to take out and to go orders. While there, lots of customers stopped by to pick up their orders.

It seems like they all knew Armen and he knew them. He has frequent customers.

Be prepared to wait a while for your order. Everything is freshly prepared. I would advise to call ahead and place your order. It took about 40 minutes for our food to be ready.

On a side note, mini kabob is associated with mideat taco restaurant, which is also AMAZING“

“The ambiance of this place was incredible. The chef who took our order actually took the time to fully explain each of the ramen choices that are on the menu. While waiting for our ramen, we got to see him apply the aromatics to each bowl of ramen. The presentation was incredible, and then we took a bite. “Bae and I had a music industry function in the hills behind this stretch of street. I saw this place was newish and had amazing reviews. The spot is a little hard to find which is OK but unusual for this relatively dowdy stretch of neighborhood where the raining cuisine is still, in 2024, red sauce italian(!) I love going to the Capri with friends during the holiday season but this was a wednesday night in July.

It was literally empty when we walked in and it made Bae nervous but I'd read the reviews so I reassured her. Like the name indicates it's a Vietnamese restaurant that serves food tapas style. So Bae loved it, I'm not a huge fan of tapas period, not even in the basque country or Spain, but this is still a great restaurant and deserves support! I would go back for sure if I was back here in the area, maybe before a vidiots movie.

Flavors were nice, but the beef leaned a little salty. Now, about those metal chairs… rock hard. Felt like I was sitting on a slab of concrete. A little padding wouldn’t hurt. Food was good, though, so I’d come back...just maybe seat on the booth next time.“
