No customer service and they don’t do a great job of letting customers know that they will only allow people with reservations to order, even for take out. I was there this morning at 11:10 am and the only person in line and I was told that without a reservation I would not be served. The next reservation was at 1pm and I was told I would have to come back. I could not even do take out.

Loved their soufflé pancakes! Chocolate was the favorite. Tasted like chocolate mousse. Matcha was very good n I’m not a matcha fan. Go early n make reservations. Staff very nice n efficient. Can’t wait to go back.

Hanabusa Cafe is a cozy spot known for its cute and tasty souffle pancakes. The matcha pancakes are a favorite, perfectly cooked and presented, with many customers enjoying the fluffy texture that tastes like delicious clouds. The interior is simple but charming, featuring anime on the TV, Uno cards for entertainment, and a very cute, pink atmosphere that makes it a great place to take friends or those who enjoy a playful, demure setting. Besides pancakes, the cafe offers many savory options such as ramen, bulgogi beef, fries, gyoza, and a variety of drinks, making it a versatile spot for breakfast or brunch. While waiting about 20 minutes for the made-to-order soufflé pancakes might seem long, the delicious teas, especially lychee, help pass the time. The pancakes, including flavors like ube and strawberry, are super tasty, though not especially filling. Some find the place a bit expensive, but many feel the effort and cost are worth it because making these delicate pancakes at home is very difficult and time-consuming. Overall, Hanabusa Cafe provides a unique pancake experience with quick service and a relaxed, adorable atmosphere.
