“Stopped in this place while I was down in the area. Hiking for the day. Surprisingly, it was a delicious, fast and well-serviced restaurant. Walked in to find updated decor. Multiple staff members willing and to quickly help. The food was absolutely delicious. Portion sizes are large.“
“Friendliest and fastest service ever! Owner (I think?) greeted me with a big smile, seated me quickly with a menu, and was very attentive. Knew exactly when to come up to take my order, when to refill waters, etc. I really appreciate their polite and friendly efficiency, and I never felt rushed out the door either.Brisket pho was very good, and the small portion was more than enough. There was quite a lot of meat in it! Nice pop music playlist for some fast casual vibes as well. I'd come back here. Also an excellent location since it's right next to a bunch of hotels!“
“This used to be a Burger King and awesomely they still have the drive-through going on but I have not utilized it yet for pho. They did a good job of shaping up the interior and the drab windows are even tinted with color now.I liked the broth of the beef pho and it came with a good amount of meat and green onions surprisingly. The noodle portion was on the small side. They add an automatic 10% service fee which is fine as I would at least tip that much but just FYI in case anyone didn't notice and take that into account before tipping more.“
“*Non-Pho Review*As someone who doesn't like pho, I can't speak to the namesake dish of the restaurant but for all those who are often dragged to Vietnamese restaurants by their pho-loving relatives & friends, this one's for you.Pho Spot absolutely knocks it out of the park with one key item, their Grilled Pork. The flavor-packed pork at Pho Spot is far and away the best I've found at any pho restaurant. Combine great meat with generous portions, fresh veggies, and a high-quality crispy french roll and you have yourself one of the best Banh Mi in San Jose. The pork is good enough to stand on its own, so if you are feeling a different option I can definitely recommend the Grilled Pork Rice Plate as well. While I can't personally speak to the pho, my wife really likes it and she is quite critical of pho overall so I would say that's definitely a good sign. In terms of ambiance, it's a very clean and inviting space and they've always provided us with excellent service. If you are looking for your next bowl of pho or just craving some Vietnamese, I would definitely recommend checking out Pho Spot.“
“This is one the restaurants I love the most. Their flavors are delicious and they put a lot of veggies and quality ingredients in their food. My favorites are chow fun, vegetable fried rice and fish sauce chicken wings. They're definitely doing a great job making flavorful Vietnamese food!“
“If you're thinking of eating pho, eat early because there is no ac in here. Spacious restaurant. My friends and I ordered grilled pork over rice, grilled beef over vermicelli, grilled pork over Vermicelli and pork chop over rice. The flavor was good 8/10. The eggrolls were crunchy and flavor was good 8/10. We came late around 8 pm and they close at 9. We got our food within 20 mins. Service was fast. They gave huge portion on the grilled pork over rice. We end up taking leftovers to go. I would come back here again.“
“This place has a classic, low key local vibe that really makes you feel relaxed and cozy. You can choose between booth seats by the window or table seating that works for both smaller and larger groups. Personally a big fan of their beef stew - loaded with fresh ingredients and the soup is absolutely delicious. The grilled chicken tastes good too, although the rice can be a bit on the softer side the day I had. Staffs are welcoming and wearing smiles all the time. Inexpensive price. Highly recommended if you’re in the mood for authentic and casual Vietnamese food!“
