I love meat, so I was pleasantly impressed by how good salad could be. Plus, nice atmosphere, quick and easy to get food, nice selection of toppings and extras. The chili was good too. We ate in their covered outdoor area, which was more quiet, nicer for talking
I believe they opened over thirtyfive years ago. I take my son when was very very young. His mother worked second shift so him and I would eat there three or four nights a week. Under the age of 5 was free. I can honestly say I've eaten more meals at Sweet Tomatoes then I have at the next two or three most frequent places combined. Easy for me to say this is my favorite restaurant and the only all-you-can-eat restaurant I will allow myself to go to.
A great place for salads and smaller tasty portions. Now if only they'd keep kids away from the salad bars so that they're not always coughing all over the produce! Come'on people!
