Top notch hole in the wall. Perfectly balancing the lines between local watering hole, dive bar & neighborhood grill. Less than 500 feet from the water. I stopped in here only to grab a beer and check the vibe. They even had a live band @ 1:00 on a Saturday. Didn't get his name, but the silver haired bar tender was also classic American faire - all American, square jaw, loving his life behind the bar. I dig it.
Went here for an event, not for a meal ( high school reunion). Decided to order off of the menu. Ordered poki and grilled fish tacos. Menu says Grilled Mahi Mahi, but was unavailable. They substituted with barramundi, which I love. The server let me know of the substitution as I was ordering which was appreciated. Old school eatery with fun atmosphere and a cute little enclosed patio in the front. Came for some brunch after a couple hours at the dog beach with our pug. Boyfriend got the loco moco, and I got the breakfast burrito with a side of tater tots. We'll definitely come again !
