We visited Sunnyside’s restaurant for dinner on Friday evening. We didn’t stay at the lodge though.The lodge is beautiful- it is located right by the lake near Tahoe City. If you don’t find parking in the lot right in front of lodge - there is a lot next to it and street parking. You’ll have to enter through the main lodge door to get to the bar and restaurant. We stayed at Sunnyside in March while spring skiing at Palisades. Our stay was absolutely incredible and we plan to stay again! The views are unmatched, residing directly on the water, making for incredible sunrise and sunset views. Our drive to palisades was an easy 15 minutes at most.
