“GLAZED DONUT OF THE GODS. I have been searching LA for decades trying to find the best glazed donut and turns out this little place nearby had them the whole time. There are lots of good cake donuts in town but the glazed donut is wily art. I prefer this place to all the popular LA spots like DK's, Blue star, Sidecar, Eagle Rock, Donut Friend, Voodoo, etc. The glazed donuts I ranked highest prior were K D village donuts in Ventura and Adams Ave donuts in HB (glazed there always sell out it seems). To be a good glazed donut you have to have the proper sugar to dough ratio, a glaze that is flaky and not wet, and the dough must not leave an oil aftertaste. Sounds simple but so many spots you can taste the oil. I find Krispy Kreme to have a strong oil flavor and too little dough for how sweet it is. They sure do look nice though and I'll indulge in warm one here an then. But one lone Krispy Kreme is enough for me where as at Tasty's I've had 4 many times and not felt gross. The same family works and makes the donuts everyday and there are perks for loyal friendly customers I'm learning. Just saying! The place closes at 2pm so got to get there earlyish, my sugar cravings are usually around at 3pm which is why it took so long for me to try this place. The fact that they dont have to stay open long is also a sign they have good donuts and I do see people ordering the sandwiches and coffee a lot.“

“Mike at Mama Donuts decorated our donuts as a turntable for our daughter’s 50th birthday. It was a vinyl record party theme! The donuts were amazing! The decor, the taste. “These were delish! I'm more of a 'plain' donut guy - prefer glazed or maple glazed over all the frilly sugar-laced things. This place delivers on both. Their buttermilk and old fashioned were on point, and the raised donuts were really light. All cooked perfectly with just the right amount of glaze. Those in our group who had the fancier donuts loved them, too. Great place!“

“I got the turkey club sandwich. I added the chips it didn't come with it sorry guys but. The sandwich is huge and was only 9.50 .. I believe it's the owner who made my sandwich and she was very kind and made me feel welcome. They have stamp cards so buy ten drinks get one free I'll definitely be back ten times lol .“

“So many Valley donut shops have the same vibe, no frills and homey albeit a bit run down and in need of a facelift. This place is no different BUT what sets them apart is their superior product! The donuts are top notch.

The glazed twists are like a meal on their own and the cage donuts have the best (and not overwhelming) crunch to them.

“The girl who was working here 5/20 around 5 pm needs a raise or management should do something about the homeless in the area for employee and customer safety. The girl was extremely patient, provided exceptional service, and remained more professional than I probably would’ve while a transient was giving her a hard time in the store. Other than that, food and donuts are great as usual.“

“Came here on a whim for breakfast since i forgot to meal prep in advance. This is a bagel egg, turkey & cream cheese with avocado. i got an iced coffee as well.food was hot & delicious they DIDNT skimp on the cream cheese or avocado at all. $0.50 cents additional for a generous amount of cream cheese & $1 extra for avocado added with the iced coffee it was around $11 with some change. place was clean & they made my meal ready to go within 10 mins. 10/10. they got a new loyal customer!

“My husband and I found this place about a year ago, after dropping off our cat for surgery. It was early in the morning and needless to say, we were extremely worried. We decided before heading home to go to a nearby breakfast place, and we found this place.We've been frequenting Donuts Park ever since. The lady who runs it is extremely nice and kind, and we love chatting with her and her kids. She clearly works hard, and the food is so good! Her egg and cheese croissant sandwich is my favorite breakfast sandwich ever, and the pastries are so yummy.Her food is comforting, the place is small but cozy. Our cat's surgery was a success at the end, and her food and warm energy is so inviting and really cheered us up.
