This place has the best carnitas around. The food is great and the staff is friendly. The negative is that the service is super slow. We have been here multiple times and we have seen groups leave the restaurant after waiting a long time. This has happen more than once. If you walk in and there are more than 2 tables taken, expect to wait 40+ minutes for your food. I really hope they take the comment seriously and improve on this.
Michelle of Nana's Tamales recommended this place to us & the food is absolutely exceptional! Every dish is fresh perfection even down to the tortilla chips! The service was friendly & the waitress recommended all of their best dishes. The carnitas are definitely their specialty but the rice & beans & pickled onions were also spot on! While in town for business, my husband and I stopped in for breakfast. The restaurant small and cozy and the food is amazing. We ordered Menudo and Pozole and we were very pleased that the food tasted home made. Very delicious, we will definitely come back when we are in town.
