Quality used to be phenomenal when they first opened. Everything was made from scratch and to order, there was no base sauces premade. The quality of the ingredients and meat was top notch too.
It has severely went down since then. It was a destination stop in the past, today they are not that different from any other Himalayan or Indian restaurant.
I would strongly suggest to management to increase your prices and bring the quality back up. It is very rare to have a high quality Himalayan restaurant. Please bring it back!

We stumbled upon Himalayan Taste Restaurant by chance—our favorite spot was closed for the Easter, so we decided to give this place a try. And wow, what a pleasant surprise!
We ordered the Dal Soup, Lamb Choila, Lamb Tikka Masala, and Beingian Chicken. Everything was flavorful, but a couple of dishes truly stood out.
The Dal Soup was comforting and full of rich, earthy flavor—definitely one of our favorites. But the real star of the evening was the Lamb Tikka Masala. It was a masterpiece. The layers of spices and perfectly cooked lamb were on another level—bold, complex, and deeply satisfying.
Himalayan Taste turned out to be an unexpected gem, and we’re already planning to return!

I order tandoori chicken and allo paratha…. On April 14 2025…. Tandoori chicken is raw and paratha is uncooked and tasteless . Murari have a look on kitchen team… and look on tandoori chef… ….if fell like I waste my money

I am an Indian food big lover. And here was one of the best coconut shrimps I ever tried. Garlic naan is also delicious. Stuff is friendly, fast and they kept my glass of water always full

The food shines as the star of the show at this restaurant. Each time we come we try different things, and we are regularly delighted at how amazing everything always tastes. I think we've tried about eight different dishes so far and each one was fantastic. With how full the restaurant can get with guests, it is obvious that others also love the experience. Service is solid and straight to the point. Waters are constantly being refilled. I like that they can alter the spice levels. We brought our kids last time and they also really like everything.

I recently ordered from Himalayan Taste and was quite disappointed with the experience. While the taste of the food was just average, the hygiene standards were shockingly poor. To my dismay, I found hair in my meal, which is completely unacceptable. This indicates a lack of care in food preparation and failure to follow proper hygiene standards. I had expected much better from this restaurant and hope they take serious steps to improve their practice.
