Do not be greedy and just take on DoorDash orders when you can't guarantee fresh food! I'm sorry but I've never complained about love boat sushi until now. I ordered $100 worth of food and nothing was fresh! Miso had a very dark brown color to it as if it was the bottom of the pot. Edamame was microwaved and soggy. Second time I ordered from this place. The first time I asked for extra ginger while dining in, they told me when I finish my ginger they will get me some. I ordered $90 worth of sushi and they didn't give me enough. Then today I ordered to go and asked for extra ginger. They said yes it's in the bag, and sure enough there wasn't enough for 3 pieces of sushi let alone for the entire order. I will never go back to this over priced average sushi place. My family and I love this place. The sushi is always fresh and the restaurant is always clean. Cleaniness is a big plus for me. . We're always greeted when we come in. The owner is friendly and the waitress are always nice too. Their prices are reasonable and the wait is never long. It's a small gem in the city worth the drive.
