Monte De Oro Winery offers a peaceful and relaxing property with beautiful views, clean restrooms, and plenty of parking. The reds were amazing, and the flat iron steak sandwich from the Bistro is a must try, prepared perfectly with a side salad and delicious dressing. The winery provides great value tasting with live music in the general seating area. Servers like Becca and Mary are phenomenal, engaging, and very knowledgeable about the wines, the history of Monte De Oro, and surrounding places to check out in Temecula. Another server, Julia, was also very knowledgeable and helpful, with some of the best service ever received. Guests often end up comparing other wineries to Monte De Oro, noting the distinction in tastings per quarter included in the Black label membership. One visitor was alone but had a great time discussing wine and different locales. After the tasting, guests purchased bottles to take home and enjoy on the outside patio. This is one of the best places on the valley, a best kept secret.
