“Good times, good environment“

“Spent the day wine tasting and made reservations for lunch. Food was super yummy. Wines were decent. The grounds and landscaping is gorgeous.

Started with the hummus. It’s really thick and a bit dry. Needed to ask for more pita because it’s a big plate. The asparagus and prosciutto was good.

The mushroom risotto was super delicious and creamy. Very rich and filling. Caesar salad had a good flavor. The pesto chicken added a great punch to it. It’s huge! The superfood salad was one of my favorites. We added shrimp for an extra fee. They added 3 shrimp. Needed more! The corn chowder was yummy but needed to be hot. It was just lukewarm.

They have the best tasting kimchi I've had since leaving the Orange County LA area. We no longer have to drive all the way to Los Angeles for great Korean BBQ. The service was amazing. “Swing Inn, Temecula, CA is located right in the heart of Old Town Temecula. My family and I had been wanting to try their food for a while, and we finally made it there for lunch.

Before you're seated, a staff member outside will ask whether you prefer indoor or outdoor seating. We ordered the Family Platter for $159, which is meant to serve 2–4 people. It was huge! All the meats were flavorful and so tender, they were easy to cut and even easier to enjoy. We couldn’t finish everything, so we asked for a to-go box and saved the rest for dinner.

There’s free parking behind the Swing Inn, which is super convenient.

By the way—did you know that actor Dean Norris from the Netflix series Breaking Bad took over the Swing Inn? My kids were hoping to meet him, but unfortunately, he wasn’t there when we visited. Some people said he does occasionally stop by as a surprise, though, so you might get lucky!

If you're planning to visit, I highly recommend sitting outdoors. Yes, it can be hot during the summer, but they have misters to help cool you down, and you’ll get a nice view of Old Town. Just keep in mind that it can be a bit noisy due to music from the pub across the street and passing cars. If you prefer a quieter and more private dining experience, indoor seating might be a better choice.“

Cannot recommend more highly for hosting a private dinner/event.“

“My husband and I went yesterday. The views are magical. it felt like we traveled very far to find this enchanted place. Even though it's very convenient located in Temecula wine country. it's just a wonderful escape from the noisy buisiness of life. “Really good food! Love the chips and salsa and tasted several drinks ~ A hidden gem slightly off the footpath of old town Temecula. Not open late (till 9) but a relaxing atmosphere to dine in that will not burst your eardrums like other establishments. “Dining in the restaurant proved to be more enjoyable than when we did takeout a couple years ago. We sat in a comfortable booth, water brought to the table lickety split. We ordered shrimp spring rolls and each of us the large Pho Ga (chicken pho). Spring rolls are big but peanut sauce was only so so. The pho ga was epic. Came with fish sauce which was a plus. Great flavor and enough for 2 meals. Service was excellent and the young waiter's were very polite. Easy upgrade to 5 stars and yes, we will be back.“

I would highly recommend the tortilla soup, any burger, chicken sandwich, and the fish tacos. Service was smooth and respectful. Food came out hot and correct.
Lots of brews to choose from as well. If you’re into ciders, they have those as well. Super impressed and grateful for the clean location and kind staff.

Food, overall good with one little complaint. First far better than Subway or Jimmy John's and this was a relief.

I ordered the Peppered Club and swapped the Swiss cheese out for Smoked Cheddar on a white roll toasted. She made it perfectly.

I felt the slice of turkey and ham was a bit too transparent, it was lost in the over size roll and toppings, while good, just poor value for what you get. This is why 3 stars for food.
