Pig Iron is awesome. Has a creative chef’s menu (much more than Jack’s across the street). Patio is great. Just had their brunch for first time. Wafflerito is delish.
Wonderful the owners are trying to re-vamp the old building in downtown Templeton. Been often, supporting the venture. The tri tip is my favorite sandwich. However, where are the cool summer salads in the north county heat? The berry dessert arrived like warmed over oatmeal with no garnish. Unappetizing. Always short staffed. New bartender on Monday took our order and never once checked on us. They are trying but definitely missing the mark.
