Service was excellent. The skewers are really good. The Kobe and the asparagus pork belly were amazing. Didn't love the eggplant but everything else was solid.

Went to celebrate my boyfriend and loved the place! Didn't get to take a pic of the affogato I had for dessert with Green tea ice cream. Delicious! Would come back!

Service was very attentive. Different wait staff will take away plates and refill beverages. they come around often to see if anything is needed. Food is prepared very well and all are shareable sizes. Nice Ambiance and relaxed atmosphere. Overall a good experience and a solid place to dine.
Great prime beef and Kobe. I also had their fried chicken, which was crispy. For veggies I had the grape tomatoes, shishito peppers, and oyster mushrooms with truffle oil. Overall an excellent experience.
The place has a clean and calm ambience. It has a romantic vibe. The menu has a lot to choose from. The skewers are small so I'd recommend one per person if it's something you want more than a bite or two of. The service was attentive and food came out pretty quick. Everything was tasty. What really struck us was the value! For a nice restaurant it was inexpensive.

We love the selection of their Izakaya and we feel welcomed in this place every time we go. The staff and servers are pleasant always!

I'm reluctant to write about Hasu Izakaya because it's my favorite hidden neighborhood restaurant. Each dish is more delicious than the next. Plates can be shared. Try the different skewers, salads, and small plates. The desserts are great too! If the sweet potato crene brûlée is available, it's a must.

Just returned from eleven night eating and drinking binge deep into the bowels of Roppongi, Tokyo, a neighborhood that runs 24/7......no desire for yakitori during this visit because Hasu takes care of all my grilled yardbird needs right here in Torrance!!! Yes, the skewers meticulously prepared and executed in this Artesia Blvd strip mall are totally legit and just as good as in Japan. Plus the Japanese staff here are so very polite and courteous........only complaint of Hasu I gots is the piano lounge music.........how about some City Pop???

Just spent two weeks in Japan......Roppongi, Osaka, Hakata.........didn't go for any yakitori the entire trip. Hasu takes care of all my authentic quality yakitori needs so well that I felt no desire to indulge in the skewers over there. Yeah, it ain't cheap like everything in Japan right now but Hasu is still the best in LA and well worth every yardbird on a stick and plus a great, convenient Torrance location!!

Everything was delicious. Everything was delicious! The ambience is very upscale casual. The staff are very attentive and polite. Good parking in the shared lot of this strip mall.
