“Originally gave this location a searing 1 star review.After some time, I've come back a few times and they've improved a ton. The customer service still feels a bit rushed usually but the food is mostly fresh now and they seem to care about your order again.“

“I highly recommend In n Out Burger. I love their burgers, fries and Root Beer when I go. But why can't I get a burger well-done late night? With the patties nice and thin, I should never bite into a burger that's red or pink inside. I even tell them to burn it a little bit. But that doesn't change a thing. I'm not going to stop eating here. I'll just aim for earlier when not at a peak rush with a long line. Wish me luck!“

“I have been getting food her since I was a little boy, and there is nothing in lake forest that compares to it for me. I find my self craving their burgers whenever I’m away from home. Their pancake breakfast reminds me of my childhood, the soft sweet buttery pancakes melting in your mouth and stuffing your stomach. You’re always guaranteed to leave burger town with a full stomach. The ambiance and beautifully designed facilities boasts a spacious interior and exterior accommodations for cozy couples to larger groups. An amazing and diverse menu with a great wine, beer, and craft cocktails selection can exceed even the most particular palate. Personal recommendations include the prime rib or tomahawk steak champagne brunch or the terrific eggs Benedict. The chicken and waffles also became a fan favorite. The burgers are scrumptious and the fish is phenomenal. The steaks and... okay, everything is worth a try. (Don't forget to try some of their own homemade salsa with the appropriate menu items. They have many other homemade products available so give them a try). Just when you thought it couldn't get better. Matt has an outdoor extension project in progress that will accommodate additional bar, dining and music venue. This is hands down my favorite restaurant in California. “This was my first time there. The burger and fries were pretty good. The lady putting the orders out wasn't that friendly. We got a text that our food was ready and went up to get it, and she said "no, I'll call your number out when it's ready." Kind of insinuating we were stupid for coming up for the order... when we were texted to do so. Anyway, not a big deal, but she didn't have to have an attitude about it.“

“I don’t usually expect standout service at a fast food spot, but Kain at Tommy’s Burger absolutely went above and beyond. I came in with my family—including a couple of very picky eater kids—and let’s just say, our order wasn’t exactly simple.

When we needed a refire on one of the burgers (not their fault, just one of the kids being extra particular), Kain handled it with patience and a smile. He made sure everything came out right and checked back in to make sure we were happy.

You could tell he actually cared about giving great service, and that made a big difference for us. It turned a quick meal into a really pleasant experience.

“Second time in many years that I have visited Burger Boss. Friday at around 12:45pm I came in for lunch. Several kids inside on their lunch from the local high school so they were busy. I ordered the Might Boss Meal (Cheese burger, fries and drink). The cashier (Terrie) was super nice taking the order and greeted me with a smile. I got my receipt and realized it didn’t register my tip. She adamantly said don’t worry about it and continued to smile (nowadays most places expect a tip). I had cash and put it in the jar and she thanked me and said it wasn’t necessary.

Food was ready in about 5 minutes and was freshly cooked. Burger was hot, cheese melted and fresh bun. Cooked to perfection! Fries were hot, lightly salted and delicious as can be. No dipping sauce needed at all.

When all the kids left, the female employee Terrie immediately came from behind the counter and cleaned up all the tables and seats where the kids had eaten.

I have to say, this was a very pleasant experience for me. Food was great and so was the service. The value for the money was good too!! Thank you Burger Boss and I will definitely come back..“

“What an amazing burger spot! The patio is absolutely beautiful, the servers and wait staff were sweet and helpful and the food was DELICIOUS. Big huge burgers and chicken sandwiches, my wife loved the sweet potato fries, I devoured my parm fries - all the food was extremely good. The pricing is very fair too, especially considering most restaurant prices these days. Instead of spending $30 for mid food at one of the big corps in the plaza, just spend $40 here and get waaaaay better food that'll actually fill you up. My only complaint is that the fry portions were pretty small, but that's a little thing compared to the tasty eats.“

“My sister and I were at the food court at The Shoppes at Mission Viejo and spotted Smashburger! We were so excited as we Love Smashburger!
I had a regular smashburger and she had the smashturkey burger. We chose the organic lemonade for our beverage. Our lunch was delicious.“

“I have been on a kick to go out of my way to support small businesses. I’ve driven by Royal Donuts and Burger when I drive my teenage daughter to/fro work on the weekends, but have never stopped by. Today, I decided to take her and my two other kids there to lunch after I picked her up from work.

It was easy to find a parking spot. I noticed two other cars in their drive thru while we walked up to the store. We ordered the Royal Burger pound burger with all of the fixings (lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo or ketchup), french fries, a 16 oz drink and your choice of either a cake or glazed donut. You can also make it a cheeseburger or a double cheeseburger. I got mine with cheese, one kid got one with ketchup only, and another kid chose a double cheeseburger with Swiss cheese and mayo and ketchup only. I asked if they could grill the onions for my burger and they said yes. We were there later in the afternoon, so we chose 2 glazed donuts and 1 chocolate cake donut from what was available. We ordered two Cokes from the fountain dispenser, an iced coffee (for an up charge with the combo) and also grabbed two chocolate milks from the self serve beverage coolers.

I was really impressed with the variety in the beverage cooler! I took a picture to post with my review.

We waited a short amount of time for our food. Maybe 5-10 minutes? It was really quick. And very delicious! The hamburgers are in sesame seed buns and remind you what a 1/4 pound burger should look like. The French fries were steak cut and perfectly salted and hot! For the price you pay, the combo was definitely worth it! The donuts were tasty, and a great dessert after the meal.

I’m definitely coming back to try their other products. They accept cash and card. I think there is a minimum of $6 to use a card, but no additional surcharge like other places.“

When I first went inside, the atmosphere looked like a Tiki Lounge with bamboo and island decor. It was pretty cool. The host (I didn’t catch her name) helped me with my pick-up order quickly snd friendly.

I’d say the salsa was really good with the chips and the guacamole had a nice taste to it that wasn’t too overbearing for me. (Im still new to the ‘guac game’ and am slowly acquiring its taste) so this was a great treat for me.

I’d definitely try Island Restaurants’ entrees and desserts in a sit-down setting the next time around.“

“I admit that I love all the Philly's Best locations I've been to, and no matter the location the food is always excellent and fresh. But as far as cleanliness for this specific Philly's Best, the staff has done an excellent job in making sure this location is of utmost cleanliness. The booths are nice, restrooms are convenient, and--like all locations--food is of peak freshness. The more I eat at this restaurant, the more respect I have for the cheesesteak, even above that of the hamburger.

“Ok so this is a review for a particular visit and not this location and establishment overall. The experience was significant enough for me to feel compelled to do this despite the understanding that this isn't the generally accepted and common usage of reviews. So, this temescal rd carls has been hit and miss over the last 20 years I've been visiting it. Mostly just ok with a relative slightly above average when comparing to other locations. With that being said I'm of the opinion that food serving establishments product has went down the tube's in comparison to that of 20+ years ago. This could be a not necessarily accurate "personal" perception issue or an accurate in reality across the board issue but that is here nor there. This reviews is to express my amazing almost time traveling threw taste and eating experience that I really have only come a slight inclination of experiencing before. I made my famous star"no cheese' combo with onion rings and cherry coke order on the app and proceeded to drive thru to pick up. When I got to the window I pardoned myself and asked the girl if she could possibly assure that my onion rings where cooked well because I had received undercooked ones on the last few visits. I was given my food and my stomach decided I would park and immediately eat my food. I do realize that this(my hunger and immediate consumption could) have a significant influence on my experience but with that said. It was great. I was a kid again devouring what at different times could be accurately described as my favorite fast food. The burger even looked the same as years gone by(with the exception of the split top bun which they adopted several years back) with all the condiments including mayo and ketchup-relish in the perfect proportions the onion rings where almost unrecognizable when compared to those recently encountered. Cooked perfect and if I didn't know better I would be suspicious of them being sliced from whole onions dipped and dregged in store. Anyways the whole experience was too good to not say(write) something. For the record I've had some not too great luck at this location once or twice and before this if you asked me about carls I'd respond with meh or what are my choices? But this experience has me very(hopefully not too) hopeful for the next time I find myself with them as a choice or option.“

I am one of the odd ball humans that cilantro taste like soap to. and my burrito was amazing until I got to the Pico de gaio and the cilantro in it. made the rest of my burrito un-eatable. They usually remind me, lol. Very refreshing to see places operating like they did before covid and you had to beg for every straw and Bit of ketchup at most places.... Been going here since middle school after it opened so I've had friends work here, and been literally 1000+ times as I stopped to and from school almost every day and to have lunch after playing down in the Creek on the weekend with friends haha.
