“I love this place! I am on an anti-inflammatory diet and this is one of the few places I can eat. Double bonus - they serve grass fed beef, which is the only beef I can have. Their burgers are one of the best I have ever had. My personal favorite is the California Burger. It is amazing!

“I've recently had the pleasure of indulging in one of the chef's mouthwatering burgers, and it was an absolute delight from the first bite to the last. I’ve been wanting to try a new burger place and this restaurant had my keen interest. As soon as I received my food i was immediately struck by how the flavors were perfectly balanced, with each ingredient shining through in every mouthful. The juicy patty, cooked to perfection, paired impeccably with the fresh, crisp vegetables and the irresistible sauce that tied it all together. I went up to the counter and asked the employee at the front desk if i could see the staff who made my burger. Why…it was just a kid. A kid who made a difference in my life. I gave him my compliments and asked him to come work with me, but the young gentleman refused. “I don’t do this for the money..” he says so fondly “I do this to advocate for the chefs all around the world..” Chef Ramsey would be proud of this adolescent advocate. “I love me a good burger and boy did this place deliver! My gosh the burger was on point! The patty was full of flavour and a little crispy. The buns were spongey and soaking with saucy goodness. Even the veggies stood out which is p rare for a fast food burger join ngl. Also being located in the mall it’s great for a quick meal or way to full up if your group is on a shopping binge and ya need a break. Highly recommend this spot! Also staff is polite and helpful. Def prefer this over other fast food or fast casual options.“

“Enjoyed the Hawaiian menu options. The mac nut banana pancakes were delicious, had a nice crust on the outside and super light and fluffy. They had the bananas sliced in them. The avocado omelette was full of veggies with cheese on top and the lovely presentation of avocado fanned out. Loved the ube latte. Fried rice was tasty. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. Everything came out quickly. Friendly staff.“

“This Islands is conveniently located at the mall. Perfect place to eat after a busy day shopping. It is like there regular restaurants. You wouldn’t even know it is attached to the mall so it’s not like mall food. You can access the restaurant from outside the mall as well.

“They have a good special that they keep rotating for about $5.99. If they take it off, I stop going!! They should always keep it permanently on the menu, since I go at least 2-3 or more times a week. Think it is called "Deluxe cheeseburger combo".The thing that really brings me back are the curle fries, which I substitute for the reg fries for a 40 cent mark up!! They have the best curley fries of any burger chain!! Crunchy and soft potato at the same time, without being oily!!! Also comes with a drink! Total cost with fries upgrade $6.68!!

“We haven’t eaten out in YEARS. Not just because of Covid, but because my husband has developed many physical disabilities and dietary challenges. We have always loved Five Guys and missed the one that used to be near our Dana Point home. We happened to be near this MV location after my husband’s doctors appointment nearby. We went in and started to place our order. I thought to ask whether the buns had sesame seeds on them. It’s a small issue for most of us but for my husband it’s a now serious no-no health issue. I thought I would need to cancel the order. But the young woman taking our order spoke with the manager. She came back and suggested we use two bun bottoms! Perfect solution! This may sound like a small effort to you—but it was everything to us. Many Thanks to the crew and manager working the dinner shift today 08-01-2022 ♥️“
