“I visited here in late May 2024. This is WAY better than the old taco shop that was here. I had the Smashburger and fries. Burger was huge and is honestly the best burger I’ve ever had in Orange County…seriously! Fries were awesome. Employees were super nice. This place is a gem and I’ll be back!!!“

“I highly recommend In n Out Burger. I love their burgers, fries and Root Beer when I go. But why can't I get a burger well-done late night? With the patties nice and thin, I should never bite into a burger that's red or pink inside. I even tell them to burn it a little bit. But that doesn't change a thing. I'm not going to stop eating here. I'll just aim for earlier when not at a peak rush with a long line. Wish me luck!“

“Ok, let's start our by establishing this a a fast food burger joint. That being said, the burger was great! As a fast burger joint, I was shocked that there were only three choices on the menu. Hamburger, cheeseburger, and a double double. All available alone or a a meal with fries and a drink. I felt like I took a step back in time to when the fast food burger joint first began. This place doesn't seem to have changed from the beginning. But they have kept it perfect! I am comparing to..McDonalds, Burger King, Fat Burger, Whataburger this place gets the crown. “It's a cute building, the workers are friendly, and the food is GREAT. We went after a several hour whale watching trip and this place was akin to a religious experience. We saw that In N Out had parked itself next to the one 6.6 miles away so we wanted to support the brand! You won't regret it!“

“Excellent food and wonderful service! My wife and I popped in here after a long bike ride, and we weren't disappointed. We shared the supreme breakfast burrito with venison and the waffles with fruit. The burrito was so good, the meat was cooked to perfection and the combination with the eggs and potatoes made it wonderful. And the waffles, oh my! We will definitely be back for more of this delicious food. Oh, and the service was incredible, everyone is so friendly and attentive. A+++“

I enjoyed a typical breakfast that was perfectly prepared to my order: poached eggs, extra crispy potatoes & bacon with rye toast and blackberry jam. My lovely partner was overwhelmed by the tasty gigantic "Savory Spinach & Mushroom Crepe". It would easily feed two people. Oscar was very attentive and often stopped by with more hot coffee. “Our first visit to Bushfire Kitchen was a great experience. My burger was delicious, and the Thai Bowl was really good as well. We also ordered the sweet potato fries, which were probably the best I’ve ever had — perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, which is hard to pull off since sweet potatoes can get mushy so easily. We’ll definitely be adding this spot into our regular restaurant rotation.“

“This place brings back a lot of great old memories for me. It’s honestly sad to see how empty it has become these days. The burgers are still just as good as I remember, which says a lot about the consistency over the years.

I really wish the owners would invest in renovating the space and bringing some life back into it. With a little attention to the atmosphere and some stronger marketing, this place could easily become popular again. It has so much potential and history, it would be a shame to see it fade away.

Other habits remind me of in and out where your sitting there for 20-30min to get your food, not this one.
