The best (and only!) boba place in town. I’ve had boba all over Asia and this place has the most natural and tastiest drinks. Don’t expect a lot of flavors but what they offer is exceptionally good.

Really cute little tea shop in Truckee. They have herbal teas of all sorts. The owner Sally greeted us with a smile. She is fantastic. She has a lovely group of young ladies, working behind the counter who provided us with world-class service. I had just a regular, drip coffee, locally roasted them with some honey. It was fantastic and she had the Thai tea Boba, which was so good highly recommend. Everything’s made in house in Fresh.

A very cute little tea shop in Truckee. The first time we went we ordered Thai tea with boba. We got in the car and left and realized we got Chai tea instead of Thai tea. But the boba was excellent! So we went back and made sure to order Thai tea and once again it tasted like Chai. But again, the boba is SO good! The Chai is good but not traditional Thai tea. The owner is so friendly and I love that she hires students. I wish I could combine their boba with the Thai tea from the Thai restaurant. They also have yummy snacks and fun goodies to buy.

The awesome Huckleberry tea that they sell at zuri Coffee down the road comes from here! Extensive tea selection, exceptional huckleberry black tea. Lots of tea brewing devices and cups. The day we went they had donut holes. Very nice owner, will be back soon.

They have boba tea! Only place in town (that I'm aware of) that has it. And it doesn't just taste like a gross sugar drink - you can actually taste the tea. Lots of flavors. Only complaint is I think the cup could be a bit bigger for the price.
Truckee is a very cold snowy location for most of the year, so it is imperative that you have a stocked tea cabinet for those chilly days. Cha'Fine Teas is a huge blessing for the area! Cha'Fine Teas is located in a smaller shopping center with a good amount of parking. When you walk in, you are pretty much always greeted immediately. The staff at this store are so sweet. You will either be helped by the owner, her amazing family, or one of her high school staffers. All of people who work here are genuinely good people and want to help. On one of the walls, you will find their wide array of tea available with samples so you can sniff the tea. They have white tea, black tea, chai tea, green tea, roobis, etc. if it is type of tea, they probably have it. As a non-caffeine drinker, they have a good amount of options for me! In addition to their tea supply, they have a cafe where you can order a latte or test out some of the tea yourself! My favorite is getting a boba tea with their truckee green tea and a pump of lavender. This is a shining example of a small, locally owned business in Truckee! With more people moving to the area, please go support the local family businesses like Cha'Fine!!

Black tea boba is tasty. Tad sweet for my tastes so I'd ask for less sweetener next time. Boba is a bit firm but consistent.Look forward to trying some other tea options next time. Really lovely little shop with an impressive wall of bulk loose leaf teas as well.

from sf so I’m boba expert and this boba is one of the best I’ve ever had the black tea is not strong at all and the boba isn’t too chewy or too soft and was warm!! My boyfriend got the matcha and they made the matcha authentically too they kept complimenting me and the sweetest people ever uses paper straws and they have their own tea sets you can buy and kombucha legit love it and there’s a seating area!! ^_^
