Driving back from Reno, I stumbled across this gem with my girlfriend. I got the bacon, pineapple jalapeno pizza, and she got the breakfast croissant sandwich. Both were PHENOMENAL. Staff are all sweet and helpful, and just a really great experience all around. Would add this to my Truckee itinerary, ten times out of ten. I’ll be back next month.

Pastries are good but the environment is not. Crowded, loud, rude staff, high prices ($15 for an egg croissant?)

Got here 2 minutes before closing and they said they were already closed. The other coffee bar on Jibboom always serves until they close, and are much nicer to people, which is where we normally go, but had to try this one instead due to snowstorm traffic.

Ummmmm…GLUTEN FREE SOURDOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You all have made my dreams come true!!!! 26 years of eating gummy, crumbly, substitutions for bread and then Coffee Bar broke the darn mold!!!! Please never stop making this. The cracked pepper Asiago (?) is to flippin die for. Thank thank you and massive heart-felt thank you.

Twice a year we visit Sierraville for the hot spring. Smith neck is the only place in town open year round. In the past we’ve met with a very grumpy barista. Today was no different, except they seemed to perk up and smile when we said we liked the playlist. Even though she grumbled about baking fresh cookies, which honestly, she should let someone else do the baking cuz the cookies were rock hard, it was good to see her give a little smile this morning! A very rare sighting!

Stopped to charge at the Rivian chargers and popped in to see if there was anything interesting. Super impressed by the selection and great service. One display case full of gluten free treats. Bought a few g/f donut holes, a cranberry cake, and a banana coconut cake w chocolate topping. Also picked up a pound of coffee beans and a loaf of whole grain wheat sourdough and a loaf of g/f sourdough. All phenomenal. If you're looking for g/f options, definitely grab a loaf of sourdough - it's surprising, and even our pro-gluten family members were fighting over the last slices. The whole grain sourdough was tender and super tasty - freshly milled wheat berries, I think?
Prices are not cheap, but this is quality eats.

Chocolate donut was like uncooked dough. Gluten free pumpkin donut hole was dry and stale. Slow wait for coffee drink. Not impressed

Delicious bakery. The baked goods had the perfect texture and sugar content. Good for a little sugar hit before a hike.

Randomly stopped in on the way to Lake Tahoe, and we thoroughly enjoyed the pizza and coffee so much, we made it a point to make a pit stop on the way back to
