First I’d like to say the staff here are all nice and have amazing welcoming smiles. My biggest disappointment here was how long it took to get our food. We were one of the earlier tables that came in before it got busy and we ordered relatively simple meals but it took almost 2.5 hours for us to get food! Everyone literally everyone who came in after us got and finished their food before us and when we finally got the food, it simply wasn’t good. I had high hopes for this place…

If you’re in Reno, find any reason to visit Donner Lake Kitchen. Place runs like symphony. All smiles, super chill atmosphere and the food is tight. Hungry portions to be sure. Jama, my server, is a local outdoor go to person. Life hack, hit the mountain trail before breakfast. Have fun!

Well worth the drive (from Reno). I ordered the 1/2 Huevos Rancheros and could barely finish it. My grandson got the bunny pancake meal, and he couldn't finish it! Coffee was good and I had a raspberry mimosa. Yummy!
