A desert shop in Northstar Village. They have ice cream, gelato, waffles, crepes, and so on. All not bad, and nothing special either. During the busy season, it is quite crowded and sometimes there is a long wait during winter time.
We stopped by for gelato during our Tahoe trip. The gelato itself was fine, but at $10 for a two-scoop serving I felt it was already on the expensive side.
The experience that stood out was when we asked for an extra empty cup. The employee serving the gelato directed us to the cashier, and the cashier told us we would need to pay for the extra cup. Shaney was absolutely wonderful! She served us and re opened the doors for us 3 minutes after close, and was very sweet and friendly to our party. gelato was great. please check it out!
