Super cute shop, mostly for take out food. There is no seating indoors but there are a couple of picnic tables outside. Today I had a ribeye panini which was absolutely delicious. Very savory and satisfying. They have mole, pozole, fried chicken, various salads, sandwiches, and pasta. Lots of interesting drinks too. You can buy baked bread, dry pastas, sauces, spices too. If this were located in downtown Truckee where there is more foot traffic, I know that there would be a line out the door.

Eduardo and his team catered a seafood and a chicken paella, along with charcuterie, for a reception at Incline Village. The guests loved the meal and working with Truckee Food Shop was very easy. Highly recommend.

Eduardo is the real deal, a chef. The concept is amazing, everything's to go. So when you're coming up to Tahoe for the weekend, stop by here and pick up all your food to take back to your place or a rental , you'll be so happy you did. This is a foodies Paradise. Try the fried chicken sandwich, or the shrimp, ceviche, or anything it's all good.!

The food is incredible! We contacted Eduardo about a small group gathering that had numerous dietary restrictions (vegan, celiac) and they were able to accommodate EVERYONE and it was so good! We chose a taco bar theme for the first night and our whole group raved about how delicious everything was. This was perfect for our small family gathering and highly suggest their To Go menu too. I'm so happy we found this amazing little spot!

I agree with other reviews that the fried chicken sandwich is yummy. The fried chicken breading was light, crispy, and not too oily. The chicken topped with cole slaw was an awesome sandwich combination. The chicken Caesar salad also was great with that same fried chicken. There were a lot of nice salads and pasta dishes in their refrigerator also. I had a delicious fried chicken sandwich! Their shop is lovely too. I will be back for more to-go items!

The ribs, the fried chicken, and the fixins to make a great meal at home keep me coming back every time we're in town. People are always friendly and the space is super cool. Don't sleep on the bolognese!

underwhelming and small $16 salad. bolognese pasta was dry, not nearly enough sauce. sad, i was excited after reading reviews. staff was friendly!
The fried chicken sandwich and chicken tamale were delicious! The service was fast and they were super friendly. The shop is really cool! 10/10 recommend!

We came here 2 days in a row. I had the fried chicken sandwich and my husband had fish and chips yesterday. We also ordered their guac and chips. Everything was delicious. Sunday, they offer paella so we came back after skiing to get some. Paella is also delicious. All the food has been delicious. Glad that they have opened shop in Truckee!

Would have given it 5 stars but I take 1 off because of the poor attitude of the lady at the register. Mind you, we were very friendly and complimented them on the beautiful little place and concept. She wouldn't even smile at the compliment. Very sour demeanor. Too bad because that would be the one thing we remember the most. The man cooking in the back was happy and pleasant. Maybe they should trade places because obviously this lady does not enjoy dealing with the public. Now, the food was excellent. Highly recommend the pastrami sandwich (Ruebenito) and the American sandwich.
