“I am 65 years old. We had dinner at Humble Bird Saturday night. I have never, repeat, NEVER had chicken this good. Crisp, juicy (but not dripping like other places), no grease in sight. We got mild, but used the hot honey supplied and what a combination of flavors. We also got potato salad and slaw. Both great additions to an already wonderful meal. The staff was really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The place was spotless. I live north of Seattle, but would consider driving down just for more of their chicken...Well, and to visit my kids.“

“I got the boneless combo with spicy kalbi and I was hesitant at first because I don’t like boneless wings because they typical are all batter however these were perfect! So much meat and the right amount of crunch. Everything was packaged delicately for the fry-to-sauce ratio. The man who was working was very helpful and nice. I ordered a side of rice since I don’t like French fries, although I found myself eating all these fries hahaha. The pickled radish was a major swoon!!! So fresh, crunchy, and delicious. I was drinking the pickle radish juice it was so good!“

I was out in the world longer than I wanted to be and pulled off at the truck stop LATE to see if I could roll up on a cute food truck or a drive thru for some late night vittles. ?Most things were closing or closed. It was too late for doordash or a different service & I had a ways to go before my destination.I pulled up to the Lunch Box & they were still alive! Not only alive, but service with a smile as well! Parking: The downside is that this place is located in a small Plaza and parking is very limited. I was fortunate enough to get a spot right in front when I visited for lunch on a Wednesday.“

“These tacos are freaking addictive!! I'll drive from LA for the tacos. Everyone, I highly, recommend this restaurant. It's extremely clean inside. They have a bathroom. And the staff are so courteous and professional.

“I been to different Dave’s Hot Chicken even the one in Texas! I will say best service here in Glendale, CA. It was an extremely busy afternoon and their cashier Stephanie L which is in my receipt was holding it down. From the moment I walk in she greeted me I waited patiently while she was assisting others and going out of her way for even the rude customers. I was impressed by her willingness and when I received my order in a timely manner she ask me if I wanted any condiments without me even asking and thank me for coming. Parking: No soap in the toilets the only small problem but they are very clean and the tiles are very warm hygiene maintained

Kid-friendliness: 3 very high TVs but no games area spend a moment connecting with them a moment with family without screen or games it's not bad all the same

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, entering has double doors, convenient to frequent at lunchtime, someone will open the doors for you when they see you arrive“

“We ordered from Kismet Rotisserie for lunch today, and it was a fantastic meal! We went for a whole chicken, along with hummus, tzatziki, wedge pickles, pita, garlic, and chili.

• Chicken: The whole chicken was perfectly roasted—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The skin had a nice crisp, while the meat remained tender and moist.
• Sides: The hummus and tzatziki were both delicious, fresh, and creamy, complementing the chicken nicely. The wedge pickles added a tangy crunch, which was a great contrast to the richness of the chicken.

“The food is great as always. My only complaint is the lighting in this place. It’s like walking into an overly lit dentist and it wakes you up right away even if you walk in at 10pm. The amount of LED lights is just overwhelming and unwelcoming. Plus the cold stainless steel chairs and tables, it really doesn’t want you to get the food and get the f out of there. “I come here about three times a week before starting my shift at work (1pm), and I have no complaints about the food or staff, but someone needs to fix how they constructed the parking spaces and drive-thru. During lunch, there's a line for the drive-thru (which is fine. That's what a drive-thru is for), but the line blocks the customers parked in their parking space trying to get out. I paid for my food in the drive-thru lane, but then I couldn't get out due to the horrible placement of this drive-thru.

9/23/24 update: 9 years later, I returned, and I am happy they solved their drive-thru dilemma. Their food is still cooked to perfection and delicious, and their customer service is still excellent. I will be coming here more often.“

“They have the best gorditas around! It’s been a min since I’ve been back. Arrived on a Monday late afternoon and no one was there. Oh yes, call ahead if you want to order the gorditas. Like I mentioned previously they make it from scratch so it takes some time. The lady on the phone said my to go order would take 20 mins. Decided to eat it there and my heart melt! The salsa is bomb, the food is bussin, come support small businesses!

Their fried rice is excellently seasoned, the chicken used for the teriyaki is char broiled and has a beautifully crispy skin, and the broccoli beef has crisp broccoli and isn't drowning in sauce.
