“Decided to give this place a try over Dave's for lunch. I'm glad I did. Great flavor, not oily, perfect crispiness, generous portion of potato wedges and the chicken breast was perfect balance of meat to batter ratio.

When I came in to pick up I was asked if I wanted a free vanilla shake on the house and I couldn't say no. Delicious all around. I'll be coming back around during lunch time for the special.“

“I have passed by and I got curious, I ordered through uber eats and their pork got me hooked!!! Now I go here to eat in their restaurant. It is a little bit small so on a busy Saturday lunch you might wait in line, their parking is by Dixie hotel, please make sure to ask the servers a copy of what you need to put in your car so you don't get towed.“

“This place might be the only spot in LA that uses rice flour batter for their fried chicken and they’re definitely doing it right! (Not 100% sure, but it’s rare). The wings were lighter, better and crispier. The chicken teriyaki cup bap was good too. Overall exceeded my expectations and the guy there was super friendly. Will definitely be back!“

Blue cheese dip was p good (I normally declare it my mortal enemy), but truly ranch is the best for this combo. Parking is super limited, but it’s worth the pain😭“

“I am 65 years old. We had dinner at Humble Bird Saturday night. I have never, repeat, NEVER had chicken this good. Crisp, juicy (but not dripping like other places), no grease in sight. We got mild, but used the hot honey supplied and what a combination of flavors. We also got potato salad and slaw. Both great additions to an already wonderful meal. The staff was really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The place was spotless. I live north of Seattle, but would consider driving down just for more of their chicken...Well, and to visit my kids.“

“I ordered half chicken with broccoli & carrots. OMG! Their chicken is so juicy & tender. It is roasted perfectly! They grill the vegetables with garlic oil, extra flavor! I also tried the Southwestern Bowl (wild rice, rotisserie chicken, street corn, sweet potato, tomato, pickled red onion, avocado with chipotle sauce). Super healthy choice!“

“I was first introduced to Nashville-style hot chicken at Hattie B's in Nashville. Although I've never found anything quite like it here in Los Angeles (Hattie B's chicken serves bone-in whole pieces, marinated through), I'm addicted to Dave's, and love the Extra Hot! (I'll stay away from Reaper...I don't need to try something that requires a signed waiver!)

My go-to is the #4, and their fries are great too. The extra pickles they include are a really nice touch, and the sauce is a the perfect alternate to ketchup, and really goes with the chicken.

The staff is always friendly and helpful, and I can order at the counter, at a touch-screen kiosk, or on my app. The app has kind of become the easiest option for me now that I've gotten the hang of reordering my usual. I try to limit my fried, fast-food meals, but Dave's is usually my first thought when I'm in the mood to indulge in that kind of treat. If you like spice, it's a must-try!“

The food is always top notch, the restaurant is always running like a well run machine, always clean, always welcoming, always a great atmosphere! The management and staff here are amazing. “As a Regular here, I’m surprised I have not reviewed this fine established yet! My family and I literally eat from this location ONCE A WEEK! It’s either via DoorDash or GrubHub who ever offers the most Discount that week ;) unless I’m in the area I’ll pick it up. Personally if it was my wish or hope I would replace them with all of Dave’s. I’m surprised they only have 2 locations. The sandwich burst with flavor and most recently Im addicted to the Burrito. “First time visiting this beauty while in LA this weekend! Chefs kiss!!! The food was seasoned beautifully and cooked to order. You will not be disappointed and lots to choose from on the menu including sweet treats. My husband and I took advantage of the shrimp Saturday and fries. Let me just say everything was fresh and hot. Two sauces depending on what you order come with we tried the mango habanero & sweet chili!!!! We will DEFINITELY be back!!!“

“The family and I decided to stop by and grab Mediterranean food and my husband brought me by his spot he has been going to for 1 yeah or+ years. Upon entering you get greeted by the sweetest owner and staff. The menu is quite extensive and has variety of things from kabob plates to wraps; then burgers and vegetarian options. I ended up getting the lamb and beef kabob plate with hummus and rice. I also got a side of falafel and some fries to share with the family. The hubby got the beef kabob plate and we shared with the girls. Portions were quite filling and more then enough for our family , hummus was so good. Everything is fresh and house made to the sauces that come with it. The garlic being some of my favorite. This family owned place serves really good food and made sure the family was fed and happy. Definitely recommend and absolutely coming back.“

We were recently in town and we ate here twice between two days. The food is always consistent and so flavorful! It may look like a hole in the wall, but it is the best food around!“

Lately, the service feels disorganized and slow, the quality seems inconsistent, and that warm Filipino welcome and atmosphere seem to be disappearing. On my most recent visit, I even received only 5 pieces of chicken when I ordered 6. Jollibee shouldn’t feel like just another busy fast-food chain. The Filipino warmth, hospitality, pride, and quality are part of the brand—and just as important as the Chickenjoy. I’m sharing this not simply to complain, but because we love Jollibee and want this location to do better. Please bring back the quality, organization, and unmistakable Filipino spirit that made us fall in love with Jollibee in the first place. We want our Jollibee back. 🇵🇭🐝❤️“

“Great spot to grab a quick bite. Karaage chicken was super juicy and had the perfect breading to chicken ratio. Our server was super nice and brought out water for our dog totally unprompted. Only thing in this place needs beer! It’s weird having fried chicken without beer.“

“Great food it’s just that my delivery person was too lazy to enter my apartment door code and keeps saying it’s not listed and he’s waiting there and he’s supposed to come up to my apartment door and leave food at the door of my unit and after a while my food was yet delivered where I wanted it except it was placed closer to the unit door next door and not the best photo and placing of the item and I had to put on my clothes to get out of my unit and next thing that I see is the bag of my food and delivery driver supposedly touched a bit of my food and the Brussel sprouts are burnt and not edible and they gave me flour tortillas with corn tortillas and corn is what the site automatically set it to“

“Absolutely hooked on BOX Chicken! It is my go to pick up/To go food spot. I literally think about this place multiple times a week because of the addicting flavors and textures on its chicken. Not sure how the chef pulls this off so consistently every time, but it is absolutely incredible. Big kudos to BOX chicken, keep it up, and HIGHLY recommend!“
