“Crazy Hot Wings is our new Wing place. We absolutely love their food. I am so happy that they are local and only couple of blocks away. I have been ordering food from here many times now and every time I go there and the owner amazes me with his great service. Not only he is such a nice guy but he also a great chief. His customer service skills are Perfect. Recently I ordered food from them again for a family gathering and all of my relatives loved their food and that they would order it as well. Continue the good job. We will be back again soon!“

“Great spot for a burger or what I got a spicy chicken sandwich. After visiting the LA Zoo. Parking was really bad don’t plan to park here. I did order a side of potatoes but sadly 1/3 was slightly undercooked for that reason it’s a 3 star instead of a 4. If I’m ever in the area I just won’t order that side. Great atmosphere overall.“

“I’m a big fan of Maki Noho. Sushi is super fresh and tasty. I love their Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, hand-rolls (dine-in only) and their blooming onion too. Haven’t really tried anything I didn’t like. I’ve also brought a few people here that liked it too. Service is great, location is convenient to dine with friends or alone. I want to try their hot dishes but the sushi is hard to resist!“

The tuna sandwich was a classic done right. Creamy tuna salad, crisp iceberg lettuce (so crisp you could film ASMR), tangy pickles, mayo, mustard, and red onion—all nestled between two glorious slices of challah. The bread is truly what they’re known for, and it is easy to see why—pillowy on the inside with a slightly crispy crust on the outside.

The roast beef au jus sandwich was another winner. Tender, juicy roast beef with a rich au jus. The jus literally dripped onto the plate just enough to tempt the senses without making a mess. Melted cheddar and a mix of grilled & raw onion provided a caramelized sweetness. The kaiser roll was a spot on companion, sturdy yet soft.

The pickle plate was a simple yet satisfying sidekick with a nice balance of sweet and sour in between bites of these sandwich titans.

The service at Bub and Grandma's mirrors the ambiance. Friendly and attentive, the staff is always happy to help and make sure that you have everything you need.

“Order the avocado salad and the lemonade !! The portions sizes are fair but it's so flavourful and the lemonade has a nice homemade type of taste not to sweet not to sour just right and thirst quenching.

The cafe is inside a convenience store at the back and it's a small simple cafe location with good quality food, I would definitely visit again“

Everything is really great -- ambiance is casual, food is so fresh & delicious and the service is really great too. The staff checks in on you quite a lot-- a bit more than I would personally prefer but you can't fault them for being overly attentive. If you like to engage in conversation uninterrupted, perhaps opt for the outdoor seating but other than that everything about this place is perfect.“

“I thought it was funny that they brought out egg rolls on the house because 1. It’s a pizza spot
2. I’m Asian, so I thought they were trying to comfort me with egg rolls, but it was really cool in my opinion, and the egg rolls were good. The pizza was really good, you get a good size for the price, it was made perfectly, it wasn’t soggy nor burnt
The guy that makes the pizza knows what he’s doing, I don’t know if they have a “build your own pizza” type of option, but I think that would be good, due the the pizza menu sort of being small, but it’s tasty so it makes up for it, the entire place on the inside is small, but it’s a nice place to relax and talk and have a beer or 2, really cozy

Parking: There’s a residential area on the side of the block, that’s honestly your best bet to find parking, they having parking meters in the front but it’s usually always taken“

“Byfar the best baleada I ever had. I was just driving by and saw Cemitas Catrachas. I was here on a Friday 11 am. It wasn't too busy inside but they did have a lot of orders to go. The place was very clean and my order was taken fast. I was ready for disappointment because is hard to find a place with good authentic baleadas just like home. I would definitely recommend it.“

Parking in front is always limited but we park in the neighborhood behind and walk quite far. You order at the window and usually service is decent and quick. However, the last time we had lunch, we were treated very rudely by one of the staff members for asking for a to-go box. Lately the tables have been filled and there’s been a small wait for them. We usually have to clean up after people that leave all their dishes and trash on the tables so fyi - there is a bin in the middle of patio area for you to put your dishes and a trash can for waste, along with a self service water dispenser. Highly recommend Dune for flavorful, fresh, healthy, and huge portions.“
