“we were heading back to San Francisco from Yosemite and were craving some good pizza. Two guys did not disappoint! we grew up in NY state where there is plenty of good pizza options but this place doesn't even compare. It's California style pizza, the dough and crust is probably the best I've ever had. I'm not sure how you can load it with toppings and still get it crispy... but somehow they do. what a special treat, so glad we found this place“

“New owner is great! Such a friendly easy going atmosphere. They let us bring our dog in (with permission) and the selection is wonderful. I’ll definitely be back not just for the drinks but for the conversation and chill vibes. You guys are awesome!“

“We had a great dinner at the Charlotte of chicken and meatloaf and tacos and it was really wonderful and Finn is just a great host and he showed us some of the rooms that they have there in the hotel, which are just darling, really nice rooms well appointed bathrooms with each room , very very nice hotel and reasonably priced. I would recommend it to anybody who was coming up to Groveland for both food and rooms.“
“Went in over the weekend. Bartender was amazing! I asked for an Aperol Spritz which he was not familiar with and was willing to google or whatever he needed to do to make me happy. I went with a glass of sparkling wine instead. Great experience. Amazing what great service will do for your business.“

“We are frequent visitors of the Bourbon Barrel and it gets better each time. Great drinks and surprisingly amazing food. I've had almost every item on their menu and nothing has disappointed. The brie cheese dish is a must try! The only problem is that it's gone too quickly. Excited to see how the expansion turns out with the large outdoor patio!!“
“My review of the City Hotel and What Cheer Saloon is FANTASTIC! The atmosphere takes you back to the gold rush days, and the food is as good as it gets. This is the Golden Ticket." The kobe beef burger with snake river candied bacon is next level. It's as good of a hamburger as you will eat anywhere!“

“We love the owners here! Joey is a great DJ and Collin & Lisa are always helping out behind and around the bar! We love their pretzel bites! The drinks are always good and the brunch food is good too! We had a blast a couple years ago when we went for the Santa Bar Crawl 2022!“

“Such an awesome and unique place. Whoever designed the space did an excellent job! Food was delicious and the bartender provided great service. The food is a bit on the pricier side, but the portions were large and it seemed like more of a scratch kitchen. We both took home half of our food and were able to have another meal from it. Would love to go back to listen to live music.“
“Good environment and awesome music. The bartender was having trouble remembering whose card was whose. Made me scared to leave a tab open cause how she was asking made it seem like someone could have just taken my card. But all together good drinks and a good atmosphere I would go back!“
“Seven of us were staying in Strawberry for a work fishing trip and was looking for something to do nearby on a Friday night. So we decided to stop by Diamond Jim's and couldn't of asked for a better night. The crowd was great and the bartender was amazing! Things were a little quiet at first but once the drinks started pouring, and the karaoke going, it was a night for the books. Thanks Diamond Jim's for putting up with our group and hosting such a fun night!“

“First time here, excellent NY and Rib Eye steak, vegi’s and salad. Staff was very attentive and we were in and out with no wait even though the place was packed on a Sunday holiday weekend. My husband and I will definitely be back.Parking: Most spots were taken but if your in a truck theres plenty of off pavement parking close by.“

“My recent visit to El Jardin left me with a wonderful dining experience. The flavor of the soup I ordered was absolutely on point, and it made for a delightful start to my meal. The Cadillac margarita was a standout, boasting an amazing taste that I thoroughly enjoyed. The chips and salsa provided the perfect accompaniment to my drinks and meaI appreciated the fact that the restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating options, giving patrons the choice of their preferred dining atmosphere. Although there was a minor hiccup with a new hostess who was unsure about a few things, we all start somewhere, and his effort to accommodate was clear. However, the only aspect that didn't align with my preferences was that the sour cream came already in my soup. I would have preferred to add it myself to avoid curdling. Nevertheless, the flavor was still incredible, and the soup tasted great. Overall, El Jardin offers a fantastic dining experience with excellent food, an inviting atmosphere, and a standout margarita. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning in the future.“

“We arrived in Groveland today in anticipation of visiting Yosemite. It was too hot to cook, so we headed to town and found this place for dinner. The history here is really cool, having been a business in this building (in one form or another) for over 150 years. The food was good and the service was excellent, as was the atmosphere. My only gripe is that we were charged "large group" gratuity for my wife and I and our four kids. That was sketchy by itself, but in light of the fact that servers in CA are already being paid a living wage by force of government, it feels even sketchier. It wouldn't stop me from coming back - the server was great, and I'd have tipped him anyway. I just don't like surprises. I've always tipped well because I knew servers depended on it, but that's just not the case anymore in California.Vegetarian options: They had a few vegetarian options.Parking: There is free parking across the street, but I could see it being difficult when they're busy. We were there at 3pm so it was no problem.Kid-friendliness: Totally kid friendly, with a kid's menu too.Wheelchair accessibility: Not sure about this. Parking is a little difficult and there are steps at the front door. There may be an accessible back door that I didn't see, though.“
“What a fun place to hang out. Good drinks, fast service. Old school environment, everyone new each other. Despite being the only people from out of town we were welcomed by the whole bar and had a great time. Locals told me about it and I had to check it out. Would recommend stopping in.“

“Got here just before closing, had the la compuestra salad, and my wife had the taquitos, with very good ice teas. The salad and taquitos were wonderful. We've been coming here off and on for years for lunch. Service still friendly, fun and efficient. Glad they're still here.“
“We visit the family house every so often and decided to try the local course. We quickly realized how challenging the course can be. Lots of par 4's, long 5's and challenging par 3's. The hills, always keeping the ball above or below your feet, will test you. It's very fun and the staff were friendly. Great time!“

“The Loggers Club is a small local and basic bar, but big in hospitality. Labor Day weekend 2011, we had the opportunity to experience and enjoy freshly caught local cat fish fried by Floyd, accompanied by home made "Grand Ma's" hush puppies, fresh corn & other dishes created by the local patrons. We were also honored to have met Joe Golz, owner, a big burly man but a sincere & generous man. It is so refreshing to be welcomed as family in the manner Joe, Loggers Club & his staff made us feel...just like home. Thank you!“
