If you order a Blackened Salmon, they cut corners.
What I got was a salmon that looked like it had been baked in an oven, not pan-seared as it was supposed to be. When I brought this up to ther server she said they use a "blackend seasoning"
The salmon should have a dark, almost charred crust, but not burnt. That crust comes from the butter or oil used during searing, combined with the spices caramelizing in a hot pan.

We reserved a table for 12 for my moms birthday 2 weeks in advance. We were forced to put down a $300 deposit, which will go to the actual tab of our dinner. Fine.
The night of the dinner comes and after we order our drinks, we are told they are out of both sirloin and ribeye……… absolutely ridiculous. Cuts Steakhouse is known for its high-quality steaks, with customers praising the tenderness of the filet and the precision of the cooking. The menu offers a variety of sides, with mushrooms and fried Brussel sprouts being standouts. The ambiance is described as relaxing and pleasant, making it a great place for special occasions. The drinks, including the Ivy drink, are highly recommended. However, there have been some complaints about the execution of certain details, such as mix-ups with steak orders and failure to acknowledge special occasions. The steaks were the best, and the bone marrow butter was delicious. The bacon appetizer was heavenly, and desserts were so good. The ribeye was tasty, but lacked any real effort in presentation. The carrots in brown sugar and honey were really good. The hostess was amazing, taking care of drinks, bringing food, and boxing leftovers. The waiter was a nice guy. It was quiet and relaxing, not noisy at all, and very clean.
