The service was fast and the food was savory with a light on taste buds. I was very satisfied with the delivery on the soft on sweet goodness.“

“Absolutely loved the pistachio knafooza at Filo. Perfectly crispy on the outside, rich and gooey on the inside, and loaded with real pistachio flavor—not overly sweet, just beautifully balanced. You can tell it’s made fresh and with care. Easily one of the best knafooza desserts I’ve had. If you’re going to Filo, this is a must-order! Next on the list to try is the boozalava“

“I was able to try these out in California adventure park during the Chinese be year celebration. These were delightful fresh and fruity treats. We tried the lychee panda cream dessert that was paired with a green tea matcha dessert. We also tried a mango grapefruit crepe cake. They were fun to eat and look at. Highly recommend!“

“Hands down, this is the best mango dessert in town! The presentation is absolutely beautiful every detail is thoughtfully done and the taste is even more impressive. It’s perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, allowing the rich, fresh mango flavor to truly shine through in every sip.

The staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive, making our visit even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to the store manager YUNA she is truly a hidden gem! She was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive to me and my family, making us feel so welcomed and well taken care of.

The macaroon was SO yummy but the line moved incredibly slow. I’ll probably swing by the stand again before heading out of town, but only if there isn’t a long line ahead of time.“

“The absolute BEST churros!! I've gone to El Moro several times in Mexico City and the quality here in Costa Mesa is on par! While waiting for the red bean shaved ice, my child and husband each ate a piece of bungeoppang, and it was so delicious that we will buy it again tomorrow. I pack it up and write a review right away on my way back home. The owner and his wife were very friendly, and as we sat down to eat for a while, the owner even gave us some juice for the kids to drink~~

A. Answered the phone 1 minute to closing
B. Listened to me explain my “situation”
C. Disregarded the fact that they had no obligation whatsoever to serve me because they hadn’t received an order via postmates in my name
D. Served me anyways. After closing. Even though I wouldn’t get there for another 20 minutes to pick it up
E. Said it was on the house
F. Kindly left my sealed order sitting neatly atop a flower pot just outside the store entrance, and followed up with a text containing a picture of where to find it.

“We first discovered Kokonut Costa Mesa while visiting the area for the first time — and instantly fell in love with their original Kokonut pudding! The flavors are so simple yet absolutely delicious, and the fact that it’s vegan-friendly makes it even better.

Back on the East Coast, we couldn’t find anything that even comes close, so I recently ordered some for my husband’s birthday. The owner went above and beyond to make sure the delivery arrived exactly when we were home — such a thoughtful and kind gesture!

This is truly one of the best desserts we’ve ever had — light, creamy, and full of natural flavor. I just wish they’d open a store on the East Coast! Until then, I hope more people discover this hidden gem in Costa Mesa and try all their amazing flavors.“

“I love Bake & Che. They have multiple locations now throughout OC and LA. I mainly visit this location because it’s closer to me.

Parking: The parking lot can be frustrating because it can get busy on random days. Finding a spot is a hit or miss.

Ambiance/Environment: They have a small/medium indoor space with a decent amount of indoor seating. It can get crowded with people waiting around at the pick up counter. It’s a Vietnamese spot, so Vietnamese music will be playing.

Service: The workers are nice, quick, and efficient. They speak English and Vietnamese.

Desserts: I absolutely enjoy all their che. It’s so refreshing! Their bakery items brings back so many memories for me. My favorite is the Pandan. My go-to Che are the Thai, avocado, and house special. Perfect amount of milk and a generous amount of jellies & fruits. My only critique is the cleanliness of the packaging. Every time I received my order, the cup is always sticky. Their Green Thai Tea is the BEST I’ve ever had! The floral and pandan notes definitely came through.

Pricing: It is pretty pricey, but definitely worth it every once in a while! Highly recommend joining their rewards program through the Toast app. They also send out coupons/promotions occasionally.“
