This restaurant has a drive thru, perfect for if you just left Joshua Tree National Park and are hungry! The food hit the spot perfectly and was fresh and hot within a couple of minutes of ordering at the window. Having just crossed over back to the states from Mexico that morning my wife and I were craving tacos. Taqueria did not disappoint with our taste buds. I ordered several tacos from asada, pastor, and carnitas. All were excellent. I also tried out the pastor burrito and I wish I had gotten a second one for dinner it was delicious. TV was on inside while making order and was all in Spanish. Helped set the atmosphere for amazing service and food.
We’ve eaten good food here many times and although one week it wasn’t as good as usual you have to expect imperfection from the restaurants in a small town. Usually it’s been great and far tastier than many of the other Mexican takeout establishments here. Fresh home made salsa if you order chips. Crispy tacos and taquitos are yummy. Guacamole isn’t “green sour cream” like some places. They’ll change the TV channel if you’re not happy with what’s playing.
