“Ordered a medium quarter pounder meal recently at this location. The overall meal was pretty good. The burger tasted great, salt on the patty was nice, fries were hot and fresh. Despite having to wait (due to quarter pounder being cooked-to-order) it was an overall enjoyable experience.“
“Well now, the owners and managers of McDonald's across the California landscape need to hang their heads in further shame.
Here's the deal -- I nearly burnt my mouth on a quarter pounder with cheese combo meal. Why? Because they're d**n food was HOT, freshly cooked, in a way that I haven't experienced in at least two decades.
And that fully informed me that all of the other McDonald's I've visited over those 20 years have FAILED miserably at serving FRESHLY COOKED burgers.
My french fries were equally hot -- in other words, they went straight from the cooking basket and onto my serving tray.
Every other McDonald's seems to set the burgers aside for 5 to 10 minutes under an ironically named heat lamp until they've cooled. Only then are they served. And, I haven't had french fries at any other McDonald's location that seemed as freshly made.
Although somewhat inconvenient, this will be my go-to place anytime I'm in this part of the Bay Area.
