“Good food for a great price. Just don't ever call less than 30 minutes before they close or they will put you on hold and never come back to the phone. it's happened to me 3x now. I called 20 minutes before they closed to order some spamasubi and was put on hold and order was never placed. Guess I will be going back to the other Hawaiin resturant.“

Their food is a must try, honestly should be advertised as restaurant. The crew is very friendly and attentive. Parking: On the front of the building they have plenty of parking

Kid-friendliness: They greet u & kids when u arrive nice place for kids to eat

Wheelchair accessibility: They have tables that are w/c accessible and plenty of space for w/c to move around“

I'm glad that Poke Ichii is still up because I personally think their food quality is much better than Okashi (which is on the other side of Nut Tree). Unlike Okashi's regular / half bowls, Ichii give you more protein for their regular, and more food portions in general. I was also able to taste the individual flavors, and the octopus was prepared well. In Okashi, their octopus tends to just feel and taste like rubber, while Ichii's was more firm and actually tasted like cold octopus. My only issue is that their spicy tuna and mayo weren't spicy at all, but that didn't detract from the overall quality of the food.

Sorry Okashi, but I think I'll be going to Ichii from now on!

Unassuming adjacent to an Ill placed liquor store, Ohana Hawaiian BBQ is perfectly located for those looking for something different, despite the close proximity of that saliva inducing, addictive Orange Chicken being pushed by a husky panda down the street. But Howzit you ask? All gravy bruddah & sistah. When ordering plate-lunch (main+Mac+2 scoops of rice) I asked if I could sub a scoop of Mac for the overly generous scoops of rice...this was done at no charge. The sauces are on point, mains cooked to order, being the only patrons at the moment the food came out extraordinarily fast.“

I called on short notice and ordered a medium tray of chicken teriyaki, katsu, beef, and three sides, everything was flavorful and fresh. While the prices are a bit higher than well-known Hawaiian chains like L&L or Ohana, the quality, portion sizes, and authenticity make it worth every penny. The food is well-seasoned and truly reminds me of what I had in Hawaii. If you want real Hawaiian BBQ and generous servings, this is the place to go.“
