I grew up with their origins as a store in Richmond CA many moons ago, then the first and second restaurants also in Richmond and the Hilltop Mall shop; now long gone. I was so surprised about a year ago, when if found them in Vallejo; still same family owned. Even some of the decor is from the old places. The food is simple and good. Prices are good. The workers are really nice as well. Not understanding the recent bad reviews. Was just there 2 days ago. Yum!
Been coming here for many years. It’s the real deal, they make you feel welcome here, like family. Our favorite is the cheese enchiladas with the best brown chili gravy and chili rellenos . Seriously , the best we have ever eaten! Yes, the location is right next door to a liquor store on Springs Rd. and the decor is dated and worn, (even duct tape on the booth seats) but if food and great service are what you are looking for, don’t miss out.

I go with my wife to this place many times a year! This is my favorite place to grab a bite. I go to this spot frequently. The food is fantastic, the crew is professional and the payment is affordable. I like eating in this place over a tasty dinner.
