My wife and I love eating at K.J.'s restaurant! IT'S NOT CHINESE FAST FOOD, they serve large authentic Chinese dishes. Every time we dine at K.J.'s, IT IS A CULTURAL EXPERIENCE! Having said that, cultural dishes/experiences take time. So relax and enjoy. I see that people complain about prices? We factor in that the portions are ridiculously huge. They are family portions, they are meant to be shared by the family = CULTURE. You might order two dishes to be shared by three people and you're still going to be taking some extra food home. We frequent Harrah's quite a bit because we live nearby. We've eaten at most of the restaurants near Harrah's. I've noticed that there is a big employee turnover rate out here, but not at K.J.'s. That's because it's tough to get people to come out this far to work. Having said that, these people (all service workers) rely on their tips to make it worth the trip out here. My advice, tip well because it brings me great luck, they depend and deserve it. Did I mention that tipping brings me great luck? I was very surprised to see complaints, I think it comes down to cultural misunderstandings. While we might perceive the service to be robotic or unfriendly, I learned that they are just super professional and super serious about doing a good job = CULTURE. Be understanding of their culturalistic ways or differences in serving you. We go back because we love the experience of authentic Chinese fine dining. We see the same employees, the kitchen staff is Chinese, that's why it's so good and authentic. Our last visit was particularly fun because the manager (Ginny, I think) came out to see how we doing. We had a great conversation, she's super personable and very funny it was a truly delightful conversation. We will keep coming back for a real cultural experience, great-tasting authentic Chinese food, and now fun conversations. Great food and experiences take time, so just relax and enjoy

I am very disappointed, and did not even get to eat here. We are guests of the resort, staying in from way out of town. We came down for dinner and got in the line right outside. Just two folks before us. We stood for over TEN MINS and no one ever came to greet anyone in the line, no one came to take our names or let us know how long. Mind you, it's not full. Plenty of empty tables. People also waiting on the Take Out side looking around for ANYONE to care. Sadly, we left after ten minutes of not even being greeted or anything at all. I don't mind waiting, but at least letting us know how long, and a greeting, would be good customer service.

Awful food and even worse service. Definitely do not recommend. Server was very disinterested in helping us. She had no personality and never once came to check on us.

I have eaten at this restaurant for many years, the food is very delicious but this time they did not give me chopsticks and spoon, It's sad because sometimes I need to eat in the car

The food is really good here, but the service is horrible! No personalities here that greet you with a warm smile. The service isn't the best and when you ask for anything it seems to be an issue or inconvenience. If you are in the mood for soup I recommend trying the hot & sour it's really good. Also, the orange peel chicken is a 8/10. The lack of 5 stars is for the service not the food. I will return because I enjoy the meals.

The food was okay here...no real complaints, but similar dishes at other chinese restaurants are generally better by comparison. There's no ambience to speak of here. There is also no bar, so I don't think you can even get wine there...that wasn't a big deal to us...we were there after a show and pretty limited because a lot of places in the resort/casino closed at 10. The service was among the worst I've ever experienced. Everything came out fast, but zero customer service/hospitality skills on the part of the servers there. I believe they would have literally just thrown the food to our table if they could have vs. physically bringing it over.

This is for KJ Chinese Restaurant in Harrah's Casino at Funner City. Delicious food. Our favorite dishes are Salt & Pepper Shrimp and Pad Thai. Excellent service from our favorite waiter, Mr. Chaolong.

Not worth the price you pay. Every entree is over $25 and lacked flavor... and if you want rice, you have to order that as well. When our meal was delivered, I asked about rice and the waiter said, "Did you order it?" I replied I had not, but asked if I could order it now. He wasn't happy, but brought the rice. You cannot order a bowl of egg drop soup (or any soup), you have to order the family size half gallon for almost $30. In the end, find another place to eat at Harrah's, this one is not worth your time or money.

We went new years day. The place was NOT BUSY. Should of been a red flag. The food was terrible and the service was even worse. 4 of us went, 2 got a served and finished. 20 minutes later the other 2 got served. The prices are ridiculous for the quality of both. Save yourself the trouble and don't go.

Located in Harrahs Casino, KJ's is a solid choice for a meal! We ate around 3:30 and there were hardly any people in the restaurant at the time. It took around 15 minutes to even get seated so be prepared to wait even if it seems pretty empty. The service is not great & we weren't even checked on once. Once we ordered though, the food came out relatively fast. Between three of us, we shared sweet & sour pork, hot & sour soup, XO string beans, & shrimp with black bean sauce. The soup portion is huge, but was a little watery. The XO string beans were good, but nothing crazy. The pork and shrimp were really flavorful & probably one of the best I've tried anywhere. Even if you do family style, this place can be pretty pricey, especially if you get hot tea and rice as they charge per person/bowl.

This is the place that you would learn about the wors Chinese food with an unbelievable prices. The service is not existence. You need to flag someone done to get a refill or another utensil. Avoid this place by all means.

The food is really good. It's very loud because it's in the casino and I would say the reason I wouldn't read it five stars because the cigarette smoke is overwhelming service was nice and fast and they allow you to use points from your Caesars rewards to purchase food.

This place is the best Chinese food I have ever had ... I practically ate almost everything on the menu over several occasions, and I was completely satisfied... I eat here every time I come ..
