We celebrated my mom’s 75th birthday at Salt & Fin, and it couldn’t have been a better choice! From the moment we arrived, the hostess greeted us warmly and seated us right away. Our waitress, Gina, provided absolutely outstanding service — attentive, friendly, and made sure every detail was perfect for such a special occasion.
The food was equally amazing. The red snapper we ordered was especially memorable — cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Every dish came out just right, and you could tell care was put into both presentation and taste.
What truly made the evening special was how the entire experience came together: excellent service, fantastic food, and a welcoming atmosphere. Most importantly, my mom was incredibly happy, which made the night unforgettable. Highly recommend Salt & Fin for anyone looking for a place to celebrate something special!

I have to give a shoutout to our waitress—she was absolutely amazing on Saturday night (9/6/25)! A few friends joined me for dinner, and they had been raving about the food, so I was really looking forward to it.
Unfortunately, the experience fell a bit short. The food took quite a while to arrive. I ordered the half East Coast, half West Coast oysters, and they were gritty with bits of shell still in them. The lobster bisque was overly salty, and the portion of poached lobster—priced at $40—felt underwhelming for the cost. We also tried the chef's special Pan Roast, but sadly, that too was quite salty.
Despite the food, our server truly went above and beyond and made the evening much more enjoyable. Her service was the highlight of the night!

I've been to Salt-N-Fin a few times, and have had very different experiences. First visit was with my wife - just the two of us - in service was good The food was actually VERY good. I ordered the sea bass and she ordered the shellfish pan roast in both were actually excellent. The shellfish and rose to particularly was so good that a few weeks later, we decided to treat our family to dinner at the restaurant. Three out of the five of us ordered the pan roast - three out of the three that ate it all had the shits later that night.
My more recent visits, I've noticed the service is actually the primary issue at this point. Tonight I was by myself and asked to sit at the sushi bar. I was told they were down to cook, and down the server, so it might take a little longer than usual. Well I appreciate the heads up, don't tell me about what you can't do for me when I walk in the door... tell me what you CAN do for me.
If you have staffing issues, just tell me it's a 20 minute wait. I really don't need the details. I can make my decision based off that.
If you tell me that you have staffing issues and that the service will be subpar as a result, then I start asking myself whether or not I should eat here.
Based on some of the other reviews of this place, it seems like food and service are roll of the dice. Not entirely ironic considering the restaurant is in a casino. Lol.
A lot of the reviews also mentioned that they chose this as an alternative to Hell's Kitchen for whatever reason - and sadly it seems like a lot of people regretted that decision. It can be good - but just know it's very night and server dependent... assuming they can figure out their staffing issues and you can get a server/service in a timely manner.

Mediocre overpriced food. The only thing that was okay was the oysters.

Was looking forward to their fantastic seafood Louie we had 2 years ago. Disappointed this time with the salad having just shrimp without advertised crab.

Worst food ever. Order the seafood pasta, the pasta was one gluten clump, the seafood was over cooked. The best thing we ordered was the bread.

Fantastic meal! Jane and staff did a great job serving us. We started with oysters and sides then had a whole red snapper. All of the food was so good! The chimichurri for the red snapper tasted so good with the fish. We loved all the sides and the oysters were delicious, especially being so far inland! This is our new spot in Harrah's!
Sea food bar was yummy 😋.
Great customer service. Place was inviting. Overall our experience was excellent.
Do not waste your time at this restaurant. The service was absolutely horrible. The prices do not reflect the service. It took 45 minutes to receive our appetizers of oysters and scallops. We informed our server that we were going to attend the Chris Tucker concert. After 90 .minutes still only receiving our appetizers. I notified the manager to delete our main entree orders. The manager was very nice and apologized for the unacceptable service.
Have been dining at salt and fin at least once each stay since they opened. Food has been getting better each time. The pan roast was tasted excellent but the lobster seemed a little overcooked. The asparagus and bok choy has been overcooked and very limp and stringy. Desert were very good. Our waitress was attentive.

We couldn’t get into Hells Kitchen so we settled for salt and fin. Bad choice. The food is so low quality I should have sent it back or walked out. Looks like a nice fancy restaurant but there was nothing we ate that was worth the $250 bill for 2.
Maybe edamame. That’s it. All the sushi was like it was sitting in a freezer until ready to serve. Lobster and shrimp you could use as a rubber ball. Nice waitress but she had no idea how to take a drink order. Get reservations for Hell’s Kitchen or better off at one of the fast food places there.
Got food poisoning from this place
Jane was our server, her service was good. She received our feedback and seemed confused about why it was so bad, so to explain, we came in to Harrah’s to stay because our area is in a power outage. We arrived late because we work, Hells Kitchen was closed or we’d have just eaten there. So by the time we ordered, there weren’t really any other options for a meal after a long day. Yes, we ate the food because we came hungry and felt we didn’t have much of an option.
We ordered the scallop appetizer. It was 5 skinny pieces of very overcooked scallops.
We ordered the branzino, something we love, and the fish was dry and very overcooked. Even the rice side portion was extremely overcooked, visibly actually, so I don’t know how anyone would serve this especially at that price.
The sushi was ok, although I ordered the beet salmon and am sure it wasn’t delivered since none of the salmon looked or tasted different.
The drinks were as expected at least.
We had a $300 bill for 3 people, which we wouldn’t be offended by if the food were good, but it was subpar.
We will just make sure to dine at Harrah’s when Hell’s Kitchen is open from now on. Very disappointing, but we should have checked reviews first. Do not recommend.
I actually only took one photo, of the scallops. Definitely not worth the price at all.
We had an amazing time the food was great and very big portions. The best part was out awesome server Jane who was absolutely amazing so attentive, kind and friendly I even got her phone number as she was so cool. We will be back again!! We also loved Emma the Hostess who took great care of us too!
