“An absolute gem in the middle of no where. On the way to Russian river from Santa Rosa we stopped by this little cafe. As soon as we entered we were greeted by this lovely lady who served us the entire time we were there. The food is pretty good. all their seafood and produce is fresh. We got the complimentary salad and breadsticks which were one of the best and their shrimp cocktail was out of this world thanks to the sauce they use. We also tried the fish and chips which were bomb but their seafood pasta didn’t impress us like the other dishes. For drinks I would highly recommend the rose tea as it was one of the best teas I’ve ever had and that’s coming from a person who drinks 2-3 cups of tea daily. Just make sure to add cream and sugar to it. Everything is a 5/5 for this little cafe and would be coming back here from now.“
“I hate to give a local restaurant a bad review but the last two times I was at Blue Ridge once for lunch and once for dinner I was extremely disappointed. For starters the music was incredibly loud and heavy metal which did not go with a relaxing eating experience. When I politely asked if they could turn the music down since I couldn't hear myself think I got an eye roll. That made me want to leave right then and there. The second time was the exactly the same with loud music and an eye roll from a different waiter. The service was not particularly gracious and the food was good though extremely expensive. I understand that the chef has now taken over as the owner and things definitely feel different than they used to. The music seems more for people in the kitchen rather than the people eating. For a meal that's easily $50 plus the service does not live up to the food.“

Walk past the locals with their tales of lore, imbibing cider from apples that fell not a hundred yards away, and arrive at a the bustling dining room where friendly service delivers piping hot plates of Southern comfort flavors. Why this place doesn’t have a Michelin Bib Gourmand distinction is a mystery. Try one of everything, and definitely inhale a plate or two of the most scrumptious beignets outside of New Orleans.“
