“We were looking for a quick bite before an event and happened to spot this cozy little place. We hadn’t read any reviews and had no idea what to expect, but it turned out to be a great find! The couple who runs it was warm and welcoming. I ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich combo—so good! The chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I really enjoyed it, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu next time I’m in the area.

Also, I just have to say—the woman who owns the place has an awesome haircut and color! I meant to compliment her in person, but forgot, so I’m writing it here in case she sees this.“

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely appreciated—attentive, gracious, and incredibly kind. It’s also pet-friendly, which made the experience even more special for us.

The food was excellent across the board. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked and tender, and the salmon was fresh and flavorful. The traditional Greek salad was crisp, refreshing, and true to its roots. We ended the meal with a selection of desserts that were as beautifully presented as they were delicious.

Parking was somewhat hard to find—street parking or valet.

“I ordered the huge gyro sandwich with fries. I was looking for a gyro and chose this place because of the reviews. I’m from the Chicago area and was so happy with it! It was HUGE, flavorful and I got extra sauce. The fries were even a lot. I’m ordering it again and whenever I’m craving a gyro and a taste of home. So happy I found a great place on the first try. “I had a fantastic meal here on Tuesday!!!! Anton served me a delicious beef/lamb gyro pita with Avgelomono soup on the side. So much amazing food, I had to take leftovers of both to go 😍

As a trans person and homeless veteran, I also greatly appreciated the fact that they have a clean, private bathroom available!! It was a huge relief after having been unable to access homeless services at the nearby VA hospital for the past few days.

“Luna Grill was looking real clean when I walked in, so off to a good start. Ordered the chicken and beef kabob plate...solid portion for the price. Flavors were nice, but the beef leaned a little salty. Now, about those metal chairs… rock hard. Felt like I was sitting on a slab of concrete. A little padding wouldn’t hurt. Food was good, though, so I’d come back...just maybe seat on the booth next time.“

“Whenever I have to do something early at Paramount, this is where I go first. It’s been around forever. There is a reason for that. The food is good, the service is even better. A small parking lot is right out back. My favorite is a scrambled egg and bacon with extra mayo on buttered white toast. They do it great at Astro.“
