“We were looking for a quick bite before an event and happened to spot this cozy little place. We hadn’t read any reviews and had no idea what to expect, but it turned out to be a great find! The couple who runs it was warm and welcoming. I ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich combo—so good! The chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I really enjoyed it, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu next time I’m in the area.

“This place is amazing. There are Armenian kebab places everywhere in and around LA, but Mangal is the best I’ve tried. The beef shish kebab is juicy and well-seasoned. It was grilled to perfection without the slightest hint of dryness. The lula kebab was the best I ever tried. We stumbled upon this place by coincidence, but we’re definitely glad we did! The only thing I regret is not taking any photos—we were too hungry to take the obligatory pictures!“

“On my first visit, I was welcomed by Salim (the owner) with a friendly handshake. I tried the combo kabobs, and the quality of the ingredients stood out immediately. The kabobs were tender and oozing with juice, with just the right amount of char and smokiness to bring out their depth and flavor. The salad was crisp and very watery. The hummus was light, silky, and delicate without too much seasoning. I also liked how the rice was light — not too salty or buttery like some places.

My Arnold Palmer was refreshing and not overly sweet. Everything felt intentionally flavored to offer impact without that heavy, overwhelming feeling afterward. After a hearty meal, I felt light and satisfied. Really happy with this spontaneous find, and I’ll definitely be back to complete their entire menu.“

“Ate dinner tonight at Ara's. The young man behind the counter was extremely helpful in recommending their popular dishes. Food was very tasty and plentyful. I was expecting more spicy food, but he gave me some spicy paste and jalapeño did the job. I did recommend this place to anyone! friendly service.“

“What a Great Find! First time there and Junior took time to explain the whole menu to us. He also prepared the Delicious meal! We tried the chicken kabob, Shawarama, rice, Mediterranean salad, and hummus with pita bread. Fantastic meal!!! We also watched him prepare a Wrap which was Huge. We definitely be back!!! This great little place is located in the CVS shopping center on Hollywood Way and Verdugo.“

“I'm at a loss for words, but I'll try my best. Food? Amazing! Perfect amount of seasoning and the portions are huge! And this is coming from a big dude. For the appetizers, my favorites were the Kashk E'bademjan (Eggplant Delight), Potato Salad, and the Hummus! They have more selections, but this is what I was able to try. I hear all are great! For the Entrees, ALL OF THEIR KABOBS ARE FIRE (MMM MMMM YUMMY). I had a sample of most them and in the islands, we would say "broke da mouf kine", which translates to, the food is *beep beep* GOOD! If you've never had Persian Food, or you love it, this is the restaurant for you! Drinks? I love Korean Soju and Cass beer, so yeah, +10 points from me. They do carry various Wines and Beers though...and of course your choice of Soda Pop. Atmosphere? It' gives you a Kewl Kids Vibe; a classy place where you can be yourself with family and friends and just enjoy each others company. You have your choice of Indoor and Outdoor dinning which is amazing. There's also a private room upstairs that can hold 20 people for a meal and karaoke (there is a fee to reserve, but very much worth it). Staff? We were greeted at the door as if we were coming home. Pasha and his staff go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. Their suggestions on meal and drink pairings are spot on. I can't thank Pasha and the crew for making our group outing a success. Overall? I'll be going back and I hope that you add this restaurant to your list of 'go to' places to dine at. You will not be disappointed, I promise you. (Unless your attitude stinks or you're not willing to try new food ‍) Pasha again, thank you so much for the hospitality. “Stopped in here today and glad we did. This is a very comfortable open air patio restaurant with outstanding food.

My wife had the chicken kabob plate and I had the beef plate. They were very tasty. Even the rice was very flavorful. My favorite was the beef shish kabob. It was tender with really good flavor.

The staff was friendly and helpful.

Even though they opened a new location in Santa Clarita, this one remains top tier—the taste here is always on point. Definitely my go-to spot!“

“Came on a Saturday to enjoy Mediterranean BBQ. Staff was amicable, a little slow in serving and taking orders and came to our table with someone else's order. I would highly recommend they do a number system (assign table number to customers for staff to reduce confusion). It was decent food, spices and grilled veggies were good. Chicken was a little thick and hard to cook all the way through those meats. Steak was a bit dry. Seasoned fries and hummus, Pita bread was good. Ambiance was settle, no music or noises. A little pricy but portions are good. Clean establishment. Parking can be a little tight in the parking lot.“

The woman helping us could not have been more helpful, patient, and kind. I do sometimes look a bit Armenian which leads people to assume I can speak Armenian or Russian which is always a good laugh. She made excellent suggestions and gave us a very accurate timeframe of how long it would take to prepare. Since then we have ordered via UberEats 2x more and each time things were EXPERTLY packaged - literally the nicest to-go bag and perfectly portioned condiments. We were blown away. The food itself is so flavorful and the ingredients are high quality and you can tell they take pride in what they do.“
