“Bro.. just moved to the area early this year, my partner and I decided to find a lunch spot close by. Looked at reviews and decided to give this spot a try. WHAT?! Hidden gem!! The service- server was super friendly, helpful, and super quick!, Thai tea slapped! (Must get), zap wings - I do think need a sauce so we are taking home to create our own, fried chicken (GET THIS! Moist, but crunchy and soooo yummy, papaya salad(my partner said in her 33 years on earth this is the #2 all time best papaya salad she’s ever had(#1 is her moms), mango sticky rice was perfect- will be coming back for JUST this sometimes 😂
Oh yea I got yellow chicken curry to go so I’ll report later how that is 😂

You must MUST try this place.
It’s very small only 4 tables inside, so it was perfect daytime lunch date spot. Shit my partner and I were talking about which coworkers we were bringing here next 😂

Super clean inside. Seems like a lot of afternoon parking in the lot it’s in, not sure about night.

“11/5/2018 I gotta give a shout out to this pizza restaurant. I just finished this long drive from long beach to LAX to santa Monica to NoHo. I drove by this place and said I am gonna go there as I drop off my last client. They were so kind, they let me use the restroom (which was for employees only), gave me a discount on a pizza and so I ate it from my hatchback. Top stars for service and for pizza in NoHo!“

Beef broccoli was good, so was the mix chow mein. 4 stars only because I had ordered a large kung pao shrimp and the order only had about 8 shrimps and the rest was veggies. The plate weighed about 5lbs full of sauce and veggies and 8 shrimps. The portion is meant for 3 people.“

“I’m gonna take this moment to sort of knit-pick as they used to say. A little minor complaint but also a dose of common sense. I ordered pizza from Dominos and picked up in person. Something that me and my wife have been doing about twice a month now, taking advantage of online deals and for the most part as pizzas go, the pizzas are good. However and this is part of the knit-pick, my wife and I have grown fond of eating feta cheese on pretty much everything so we’ve been ordering it on our pizza. Previous to the last two visits to Dominos, the pizzas were cooked to perfection aka no burnt feta cheese, perfect crust and other toppings. Now, a couple weeks ago and also today we noticed the pizza was burnt on top. The guy explained that what I see is the feta cheese burnt on the top.. He said “feta cheese burns very easily when cooked in the oven..” I don’t know, I kind of felt like bells were ringing in my head when he said that but I digress. The first time I brought the pizza back to show him, the guy replaced the pizza. The fix was that they cooked the feta cheese on the inside this time to avoid the feta burning. “Hmmm… more bells.,” I’m thinking. The pizza was perfect. This time around as I spoke to the guy behind the counter he said to me “ten times out of ten, the feta cheese will be burnt on the pizza.” Ummmm… here goes the common sense part… if this is the case with regards to feta cheese, why not make it standard protocol to ALWAYS cook ‘FETA’ cheese on the inside? I don’t know but if that’s the sort of thing that would solve the issue forever, why not try it? It’s not a heavy lift is it? Crazy insane idea, I know but ummm…. Instead the suggestion from the guy was “whenever you order online, give us a call afterwards and tell us to put the feta underneath on the inside…” Ummm… no ?? I’m not gonna make that extra effort. So, this time I just took my burnt feta cheese topped BBQ and pepperoni pizza home. I refused the replacement pizza. He said they don’t like wasting food and guess what? Neither do I so I’m good. The pizzas are generally pretty good at this Burbank Blvd location. The service is decent and even the guy I spoke to seems cool but common sense is kind of at an all time low these days and I just had to vent a little bit because in hindsight its funny but dang its such an easy fix without having to make another pizza… If they going for culinary design and good looks, just sprinkle the feta on top of the pizza after its been cooked… ?? “I stopped by this Fatburger this morning to grab my lunch. I came right when they open so I was their first customer of the day. I parked across the street because there more parking spots over there compared to the limited spots the plaza this store is in. I haven't been to a Fatburger in over 10 years so I told the lady who was working the cashier. She explain the whole menu to me and her recommendations. I went with the classic burger with no onion, radish or pickles. I also added a side of steak fries with my order. She told me it would take about fifteen minutes which I was fine with. I sat down and waited for my food to come out. When it did, it looked delicious but be aware that it is pricer here. I got charged extra for American cheese. I thought the burger was okay but it's not my favorite. The fries tasted very plain and eating it with ketchup didn't help much. The dining experience here is very limited because there not many seats and the bathroom is only locked by a key.“

“I though the owner was a actually really cool guy, and the inside with outside tables were just as good as the decorations to the building; it was a clean and well managed place. “I only ate Kyochon Chicken, and after Wings N Stuff, I only ate here! The seasoned chicken is spicy and really delicious with the red pepper paste flavor. I take it with me when I go camping, and it's the best because it doesn't smell like chicken even when it cools down.

“All in all this place is great! Service was quick and our food was delicious. Everything was well spiced and the condiments for the chicken tenders were great. I should mention that the chicken tenders are also fairly sizable. Lastly, Citizens Public Market has a nice patio in the back and on the roof where you can enjoy your meal as well.

“My family and I are not the biggest fan of pizza. However we decided to order some pizza, but from a place we've never tried. Pizza Cafe LA came up on google as one of the closest places with quite good reviews, so I decided to try and ordered to pick up. (My orders were ready on time!)

I ordered two large pizzas with chicken wings.
Pizzas were very nice. All of us enjoyed every slice of it.
AND chicken wings! Honey BBQ and buffalo flavors. They were so crispy and the best of all, I LOVED the ranch? they gave to us. I don't think I ever enjoyed the dipping sauce that much in my life.

“This place deserves more attention. I got the Chicago deep dish, and it was the best I've ever had. The sauce ALONE was the tastiest sauce I ever had on a pizza. Service was great, and I believe it was the owner who was assisting us and also making the pizza. Definitely friendly and a great person with top-tier hospitality. We WILL return to this place. Only down side is that the location is small, but they deserve more recognition for their work.

“I moved a few weeks ago to this area from NY/CT area and wanted a NY style pizza, and I believe Lamonica's mostly delivers.

The pizza is pretty good, but a lot of it depends on the warming time right before you get it. I've had slices here range from perfect crisp to pretty soggy so I would just make sure you get it warmed up enough beforehand. Unfortunately, Lamonica's has smaller slices than typical NY style which is a little sad as I've had slices in and around NY much bigger than Lamonica's but they're still big slices. They are just barely foldable but a lot of times a little soggy unfortunately.

The service is pretty hit or miss, but most of the time it seems fine albeit it seems a lot of the time that most of the employees here just don't really want to be here. However, they're all pretty helpful.

The price feels a little high, I would only come here on a lunch special (11AM-3PM I believe?) as the prices seem pretty high, about $5-6 per slice + $3.25 for a drink.

The place is so great though, as a transit nerd I love all the older subway memorabilia. The whole place just generally feels like NY to me.

All in all, the pizza is good and the place is great.“

“I have tried the spicy chicken sandwich and the chicken tenders with fries from here. I have only ever ordered for delivery and not been to the physical location which is why the service and atmosphere are at 3 stars.

The spicy chicken sandwich was really good, this is definitely the item you want to try. I ordered the chicken tenders with Seoul spicy flavor and i was not a fan. I guess I’m comparing it to other fried chicken places which have thicker cuts of chicken, which is what I personally prefer for chicken tenders. The tenders came on a thick slice of toast bread which I loved. The fries were made so well and even after delivery were in excellent condition, I dipped them in the sauce which was provided and it only made it better. When it comes down to it I would definitely order from here again but stick to the spicy chicken sandwich, from the two things I’ve tried. I’ll be exploring the menu for sure, I’m looking forward to trying the original wings, popcorn chicken and loco fries.“

I recently visited Pelicana inside Madang Courtyard and had such a great experience! I honestly didn’t visit this place in the first place because when they first opened, the reviews were pretty questionable, but the chicken turned out to be exactly how I like it—super crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I tried the new Spicy White Crunch (boneless only) and it was perfectly spicy for heat lovers like me! For something milder, I heard that their white crunch is also delicious. Oh and the Honey Soy was a huge hit at our table too.

They also have a variety of fun Korean pub-style side dishes—the White Garlic Fries were delicious, but my personal favorite was the Peli Choco Ball—so unique and addictive!

The vibe is very much like a Korean pub, chill but fun, and the fact that they have 4-hour validated parking made the whole experience even better.

Would I recommend it? Absolutely, especially if you want to enjoy some great K-chicken and drinks without worrying about parking.“
