AUTHENTIC GOOD PHO. There's a shortage of good Viet food in West LA, so I take the drive to Van Nuys whenever I get a craving. I always get the combination special pho, and I will say that the amount of meat can be a little inconsistent; however, still one of the best restaurant pho. Price is also lower in comparison to other places.
The only thing I will say is that the ca phe sua da (vietnamese coffee) is just not good. Obviously, this place specializes in pho, but a Vietnamese coffee is always a must, and I think this place clearly uses powder and does not mix it well as it clumps on the bottom.

I had the beef pho at Pho999 and it was absolutely delicious. The broth was rich and flavorful, the meat was tender, and the portion size was generous. You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients. Great service too—fast and friendly. Definitely coming back again. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Vietnamese pho!

A decent pho spot in Van nuys, place was clean, staff friendly and our food came out quick.
However, the price was a bit much for 2 people at lunch time. 2 bowls of pho, 1 appetizer, 1 beer and soda should not be $60. For the valley it’s decent but i plan on sticking to OC or SD for better and moderately priced pho.
This place was so good, the pho I ordered was full of noodles and the shrimp was cooked perfectly.

I've loved this place for over 6 years. I moved out of LA a few years ago and today I went back to try out this place once again. Nostalgia was hit because not only did it look exactly the same, but it tasted just as delicious. I loved everything about it, this is food that hits my soul. I love the people who work there too, they are always sweet and kind and attentive.
